Here is how logic leads the unbiased man to the sound view taht homosexuality is immoral. Something is immoral if it either hurts another person, the person doing the act themselves or society in general. Homosexuality does not hurt other people but it it does the other things. Thus homosexuality is immoral.

I can't speak about your personal experience but the fact is that most gays never settle down with one person.
