Had the privilege of working with Billie in Alaska in 1972/73. She not only had a great singing voice but she also had this infectious laugh that always made me almost fall off my drum stole.

Country Music and the fans of Country Music lost an incredible talent. Glad I was a small part of her world 40 years ago.

An engaging and sincere voice and a song with a story to tell, these are country music (and other style) winning elements. Much of the world adores American country music. They don't always understand it so just cherry pick musical elements they enjoy, and that is totally valid! This song uses orchestral elements to good advantage. I listen to a lot of French music I do not fully grasp. A good vocal and production works for me!

What a great song this was in the '70s. You could still hear good country songs like this on the radio back then, with cool DJ's who would say how racy this song was. Daring for its time. One jock said to be sure not to get the itchy_ blanket every couple seems to own. We've got one of those for sure. Our good blanket is the one my dog keeps trying to pull off the bed.
