It's not dressage.... Dressage is different, you can tell from the way the horse is moving. THAT is horse dancing, which involves horrible training techniques.
How can you assume these horses are abused when you don't see anything but the end result? And it's fine to ride on asphalt as long as the horse is wearing shoes and it sounded like they were wearing shoes. These horses seemed to be in good health and didn't appear upset or anything so what's the big deal about?
@HawksLover93 mexican dressage. Get is straight. No self respecting redneck would ride one of these horses. They like the tennesse walkers and the racking horses.
@zw0ecool I see what you mean, but i cant really say its the "same difference".The new mestizo race in mexico did get ideas from their spanish ancestors, but also renovated alot with their indigeous side and created a new form a reigning and tack different from the spanish and introduced new ideas like the lariat and a head on the saddle to tie up the lariat.so i see these charros as mexican cowboy more than spanish. Like a great charro once told me "spanish descendance, mexican perfectance"
@CHARROBILLY Yea that's true the merge of the different customs. Of course over time things change and new ideas arise. I love Spain and Mexico. To me there is much history and mysticism. Especially in Mexico with the Aztec and the Mayan cultures, it's just fascinating. To say that I am Mexican American gives me a sense of pride knowing from where I came from, and how I am still a part of it. One day i wish to visit the Ancient Mayan and Aztec ruins. It's something I need to do before I die.
And I'm shure you put hoof dressing all over their hooves everyday. Because you think it looks "pretty". Lol FYI. The only place the hoofdressings can be absorb and used is through the Coronet Band, and yet I watch u idiots paint it all over their hooves and underneath the hoof. Even when it's written on the dahm Tub. Lol.
@Nekorinrin & Kikingfriesian . You think only your style is important? Think before you go dishing it out on someones heritage. I bet you have a bucket full of treats hanging outside your horses stall, when your horse kicks or bites you ( for not having a Treat in your hand). You say " Oh but he didn't mean to". Y'all Roach Manes and Cut tails, and make a horse look like shit!
@Nekorinrin & Kikingfriesian ... Sounds to me like u idiots have a bone to pick with Hispanic people, and don't have the slightest clue of what y'all are talking about. If you did you wouldn't flapping your ignorant ass mouth. Sounds like a snobby ass Dressage rider that ride around on your little bicycle seats and that talk to your horses like they are a dahm dog, and Goochie Goo and all that bullshit.
@elgirrito87 alright just to clear the air a bit i AM an english dressage and show jumper. and i believe that for a parade group these horses are well trained . not all english riders are ignorant, obsessive, snobby bit ches with a senority complex. my horses are not dogs they are part of my family like my children if my child disobeys he gets corrected if he does good he gets a reward. i don't go about feeding my horse treats for nothing and sometimes my reward isn't even a treat so plz don't
@LittleMustangMare lump the ignorant and the experianced together even if there are more of one group than the other. english riders can be both experianced or extreemly ignorant just as western and other disaplines that i might not know of have their share of ignorance. also the corrnet is the only place i put the supplement gel i cover the rest with baby oil to keep it shiny cause it does in fact look awsome but i don't see why others waste their supplement on glamor...
NOT BEING FUNNY BUT THE HORSES LOOK MORE COMFORTABLE IN THIS VIDEO THAN THE HORSE IN THE ARABIAN DANCEING HORSE VIDEO I MEAN THA HORSE KEPT JOLTING THESE HORSES LOOK CALM AND HAPPY AND THEY LOOKED GRATE
I don't get why people are baggin on these riders about the performance of their horses' Passages and Piaffes. It's not a big deal, these horses probably don't do dressage shows.
Lay off. These aren't 3rd Level Dressage horses worth 35 - 50 thousand dollars, so yea, their moves aren't going to be refined and perfect. These riders teach these horses these moves for entertainment and it gives the horse's brain something to do and because it looks good. Also, Dressage snobs are really annoying.
I agree. As long as the horse looks relaxed and attentive I think these these riders do a good job, and its nice to see the horse displaying such a natural and beautiful movement. What I hate to see is cowboy riders, even so called dressage riders on horses doing ridiculous things they try to call piaffe but is often just the horse running away on the spot, which is neither impressive nor attractive.
@kikingfriesian > Look, I know how riders/trainers who are Uneducated or Undereducated train horses, especially Hispanic Cowboys. I know that they use cruel techniques, but not All of them do it. The Charros in my town Love their horses and They actually look down on the guys who Think that they are cowboys, the ones who are cruel to their animals. People complain about Charros, but I've seem White Women beat their horses at Shows with stiff riding crops just because They were frustrated.
@kikingfriesian > However, as my mom tells me often, if you see something as a Genuine problem, Do something about it. Don't just sit there and complain. How do you Know that These particular riders are inhumane to their animals? It's a parade video. You don't know more than I about this particular situation. When it comes to horses, I try to educate people who will listen to what I have to say concerning training methods. Also, I don't subtly call someone an idiot while I'm doing it either.
@NekoRinRin well you should visit my channel and see what the first video on my wall is all about... and im glad that there are "good" charros out there, but personally around a 99% of the so called dancing horses (and no, these are not Classical dressage horses) are trained by hitting them hard on their legs and using harsh bits. how do i know? i see it pretty much every single day. And I am doing something about it...
@kikingfriesian> I don't like how the Majority of them treat animals either. I know all about the beating in the back of legs and harsh bits, I get to see it via my neighbor who is from Mexico and treats his horses as if they are just Meat, for example the very 1st horse he got when he moved in was dead in 2 days b/c he tied it to a tree all day and it was skin and bones. It's difficult to educate someone that their practice of horsemanship is Wrong when they pretend to not understand English.
@kikingfriesian> So, I'm sorry if you were confused and thought that I was saying how they Train their animals is okay, because it's not and I don't believe in beating techniques into any animal. I'm saying that these aren't Grand Prix horses, so of course it's a Fake Piaffe and Passage and people keep nagging on it, but these riders are too Lazy to train their horses Correctly and just want Instant Gratification at the cost of the horse's sanity and physical balance. Yes, I see that as wrong.
this is a really bad effort of piaffe/passage its somewhere between the two. horses dont dance they peform dressage movements! any movment a human can teach a horse is because they do everything we teach them in the wild anyway so therefore this is NOT un natural.
the bewdifil fresian is doing a collected and extended trot, it may not be good to do it for extended periods of time on concrete but its a natural movement, the horse has just been taught how to do it with certain aids.
