the point here is, Windows 7 is not gonna have any problems vista had - correct.

all new versions are covering up the old version's problems, so they keep getting better and better, thats a valid point. I have had 3 pc and a mac, and while pc has different issues with every os, mac has the same darn thing. What I would like to see in an os is Mac looks meets Linux performance meets windows ease of use and compatibility. now that would be one heck of an os.

It seems you are a PC fan. Just to inform you, I am not the only one who think the way I think. Windows is an OS designed to be easy to use, but there are gaps in performance, specially if you run scientific software, Matlab and Maple for example, they run very smooth on Linux.

Regarding the downloads and porn ads, I would like to know if you have proof I do that, and if so, let me tell you, Linux is by far more effcientit at downloading things than Windows!!

Before, Microsoft had the tactic of earning money by making shitty OS's so people would buy more stuff from them to either fix or replace it. trust me, dont use the tech support website for windows, its just a massive catalogue of stuff.

But now tht Apple have made much more advanced computers (as well as Linux getting involved), Microsoft hav clocked on

Mac OS 9 wasn't as bad as DOS based versions of Windows. Actually even though UNIX is king I think OS 9 rocked. I used it all through the Windows/DOS days and pretty much never had an issue.

I agree but OS 9 was in fact better than OS 8 and OSX a milestone in the history of UNIX operating systems and operating systems in general. Apple has gotten way too arrogant over the past 9 years but they are and always will be better than Microsoft in terms of OS development. Where Microsoft would promise salvation by repainting the same shit OS every few years they now round the edges and gloss it up to look as close to OSX as possible.

but yeah windows 7 acctualy runs MUCH better then vista (or XP 64bit edition) for pentium D (daul core) computer or stronger... infact it also have all the eyecandy vista HAD with less of the power demand then xp

Sometimes, you have to wait so long for the Mac version of a game to come out and it STILL glitches like no other, and has averave-at-best framerates, when compared to a comparibly priced gaming PC. And, I tried CoD4 on my roommates MBP with "Boot Camp" and I didn't feel as "connected". There was a time delay on every movement, like a permanent lag, it wasn't HORRIBLE but it was NOTICABLE. I prefer my M17x over a Mac anyday, I can browse the web, listen to music, and do more than casual gaming.

it's not about price difference between mac and pc.you pay 2k for a mac and all you can do surfing on the web,checking emails,listening music..... but if you buy a pc with that money,you can play games ( i mean real games.COD:MW2 for example,oh sorry if you can afford mac then you can afford ps3 can't you.),you can upgrade your pc and lets admit it,you can do everything you do with a mac with a pc and more and more and moremoremoremore...
