So of course she was eternally bitter after that but it wasn't her fault! Its awful to love someone and be torn apart and then have to be "alive" and still not be able to be with that person. Yeah I read that it was because for "selfish reasons" she wanted to use the jewel to become human and that was her downfall but anyone in love would have wanted that. She wanted more than anything to just be a normal girl and live her life with Inuyasha .. so it is so sad it didn't end up that way for her. Kagome got to as she wasn't raised to put her life into the priestesshood like Kikyo had to. So sad. And Kagome too to be in the middle of all that. But I wish Kikyo could have been happy.

She's happy now I think just because she knows that Inuyasha truly did love her with all his heart and even though he loves Kagome too, his feelings for Kikyou will never change. yes u are, she was raised to not show emotion and to devote her life to the shikon jewel, but that all turned around and she was killed, and when she came back to life it was only natural she would be bitter, but towards the end she lost the bitterness, and then was killed, kikyo had it hard, she really did deserve Inuyasha more than anyone.
