Based on a book by John Fowles, The Collector is about a lonely man who kidnaps the object of his obsession and keeps her in his house with the hope that the more time she spends with him the more likely it is that she will fall in love with him.. it starts out very innocently actually but slowly loses all semblance of kindness by the end of it.
