NYC bar responds to TEXAS TECH WIN VS. TEXAS

WOW..I remember goin to the Tech v. OU on the 22nd i think it was. As an OU alum tryin to find a OU bar in NYC is tough!! I'm going to have to come kick it with you Tech fans. Ya'll do know how to have a good time though!!

yea i was with my gf at the time ha she and alot of her frineds r tech fans im the only longhorn there and wen this play happend i was like ummmm damn i was speechless but none the less great props to tech they playd their hearts out and deserved to win that game

@TheTexanBorn ----Actually, most expected to lose at OU. I was at the Tech game against UT when Tech won and when we played UT 5000 kids camped out/partyed all week, including me, in front of the stadium. Bob Knight, Mike Leach, & all the gameday crew came out and brought us food and even slipped a few cold ones in. Then after that game it was amazing, free drinks at all the bars, chaos in the whole city. .

@TheTexanBorn (cont'd)-- So to sum it up, that loss to OU was in no way a surprise. (U prolly didnt know this but the year before we beat OU 2nd to last game of the season and knocked their Natl Championship hopes away; past 6 years Tech vs OU record is 3-3) So that Texas game for most of us Tech fans was like winning a Natl championship, people all over the country (and especially in Texas) talked about it still to this day....(just like how you are watching this video) :)

i find it ironic that tech is singing that song after beating Texas, they beat texas about as often as a normal team wins a national championship, so i guess it fits. lol, all fun and games here, no need to get all defensive either.

You guys act like TTU is a small private school. It is the fifth largest school in the state and growing extremely quickly too. Most Tech fans you meet are actually Tech alumni or students and not a bunch of t shirt fans like UT and OU
