One little plant will not provide enough. All organic matter is eventually broken down to Nitrate (from ammonia and nitrite). This nitrate needs to be removed, and the plant will not be able to keep up with the bio load. Do some research dumb kid.
I have seen these ecosystems in a glass globes. They are beautiful, and they last for about 5 years with absolutely no food added, and no cleaning. It's truly amazing. Great idea to make one in a condom!ball....it cost $60, and the little creature

I call shenanigans. It won't work. Snails don't eat the fish droppings. Its too small for the the bacteria to be able handle the waste from the fish causing a build of ammonia killing the fish. The plants won't produce enough oxygen for the fish. That and neon tetra are really sensitive and would probably go belly up in a day. Also they don't eat plants. If you just do a set up with just a snail or a few ghost shrimp and the plants, it could work.
