Yah I agree. My first language was spanish and I came to america when I was 7. Some accent did stick with me but its only with certain words. But its certainly not as thick. I think its probably that 7 yrs old is a big difference from 8 in terms of learning a language. Also, its probably because my accent is from peru while hers is from colombia.
