Chuck Todd is a smart man--everything that he said pretty much came true. I think its long overdue to bring the party together against our real opponent McCain and the Republicans. Obama 08'!

To Obama supporters in Indiana and North Carolina, the rest of us are relying on you to make this dream come true! The future of America is in your hands!
I have the upmost respect and admiration for you Sen. Obama! What strength, courage and faith in the American People.
I, one of millions in this country, apologize for the way the media, Hillary, and her neocon friends have treated you during this election. Not all Americans agree with their disgraceful underhanded political practices. I for one support and stand by the candidate with dignity, integrity, and respect for himself and the American People. God Bless!
Hillary is starting to lose respect by holding out so long. This is only helping Obama. Lets rally behind Obama and push him into the White House. I am tired of this already! If he should start to ignore her it would have a very negative impact on her public image! Focus on McCain!
She only got 10 delegates, not 16, which Chuck forcast. Obama won Quam today. They split delegates in Quam. Obama will probably increase his delegate lead this Tuesday. It is impossible for her to win without stealing delegates somehow which she is trying to do. I don't understand her or what she wants. She might cost Obama the General Election.
If for WHATEVER freakishly corrupt reason Obama doesn't walk away with this Democratic nomination - I WILL NOT Be voting for Clinton. I'd rather vote for McCain.
I really dont care about who wins , all i care about is whom ever wins keeps there promises they made. Many people who run for president will promise anything as long as they win, but never come threw at the end. Hilliary seems ok but doesn't look like the greatest choice. I just hate how they try and make her look like a racist because shes white. I guess everyone who is white is automatically a racist then. But over all Obama by far is the best choice i've seen.
This is why he doesn't go negative on hillary. whats the point? its over. he just needs to reconcile with her supporters b4 november. let the campaigns run fairly until june. let the clinton supporters have their say and lose FAIRLY so that they dont feel cheated and the party can start to heal.
I have an idea for a TV AD have people from all over america, heck the world, say WE WANT CHANGE in various languages then at end of ad say "I'm Barack Obama and YOU approved this message" not bad eh!

Has anyone noticed that Hillary's YouTube videos only have positive comments posted? Apparently they don't allow any negative comments. At least Obama's videos allow for negative comments and people to speak what's on their minds.
You need 2025 delegates to win the Democratic nomination for the 2008 American election. Pledged delegates are delegates who promise to vote for you, though they don't have to should they choose not to. But candidates remove their pledged delegates who are disloyal, so this isn't a problem.
Superdelegates are Democrat Governors, Senators, Representatives or members of the Democratic National Committee. They don't pledge themselves to a candidate but they still vote for one.

Excellent point, it seems like Hillary thinks she can win if she continues to beat up on Barack. We are now at a point where the Super Delegates must act in the best interest in the DNC and that would be to back Barack Obama. It's the only logical decision right now. Maybe the DNC could "reach out to her" and offer some kind of incentive...or Barack could offer her a position in his cabinet.
Seriously, whenever I ask girls (even my grlfriend), they want Hillary just because she is a woman and they finally want to see a "strong woman" rule the world. Hillary wants to win with dirty tricks, spin, republican tactics, and ultimatly lawyers. Get out of the race hillary, the "educated voters" can see right through you.
What are you, an idiot? The republicans don't have to do anything at all. They just sit back and watch the democrats tear into each other election after election. When Bush beat Kerry, all the democratic party had to do was put anyone else there. Kerry was the only person that would have lost to Bush. The democrats don't care about their party, only their candidate. The republicans aren't out to get you or anyone else. Wake the hell up you close minded moron.
educated voters, lol, Thank you Hillary, for exposing Obama as an arrogant fake pompass talentless nobody who thinks he is entitled to something, and the far left media has been giving this guy a free ride along with a majority of the Democratic party. Lets expose him for who he really is HILLARY arrogant talentless and has no experience. No more free rides Obama. Go HILLARY!!!!
What are you "lol"ing about? The more education a voter has, the more they sway towards Obama. Hillary wins the high school dropouts handily and the people that have only graduated high school barely. Obama wins some college handily, college graduates even better, and post graduates ridiculously.
And Hillary doesn't win the blue areas of states for the most part (cities) and is strong in rural areas. So "lol" the facts if you wish.
Obama is playing a much cleaner game than Hillary. Hillary is becoming a scare-rrist; she's almost like a Rudy Giuliani with boobs now. It's that sort of power-greedy fearmonger that we need to get out this country's government. She is
I know thats why shes had so much ground to stand on; her entire fanbase is made up entirely of women who want a "strong woman" to lead office. Seriously, America isn't ready for a woman president, if ever, not when the terrorists are on our doorsteps. Seriously, women need to vote for the candidate that will lead our country, and not just because she is a woman.
Hillary please just drop out. Stop wasting money that could be used for other good purposes. You are hurting OUR CANDIDATE BARACK OBAMA, how selfish do you have to be to hurt your own party? I have never seen this type of low blows among co-partisan polititians.
obama will end up winning the delagate count, popular count , has more money and is the most fear by the oposition if he losses the nomination this will destroy the democratic party
Okay, let's say that Flordia and Michigan did partake. I bet Hillary Clinton wins Flordia. But that Obama will keep it close in both states. As long as Obama pissyfoots this election, he wins. Hillary needs to dominate. And there's no way she will dominate with a pathetic foreign policy that suggets we "nuke Iran" that would amount to a WW3 and utterly destroy this country.
can you imagine if it was Barack that said those words about Iran?..the media would have been all over him like white on rice and I'm sure that two faced Billary would have jumped in on the action. she makes me want to vomit.
What no one seems to be talking about: PA used same computer voting system as NH. This was brought to PA attention weeks before the primary - b/c NH had problems - but PA did nothing. In some voting places, people waited for hours for "repairs" - did not have paper ballots OR provisional ballots and people went home disenfranchised.
McCain has the charm of a door. Most Republicans hate him. The only way the Republicans can win is to get rid of McCain. Maybe they can run a door in his place. It would get more votes.
Hilly baby is losing by degrees, and dragging the Dems through the thresher to satisfy her ambitions and salivating ego. hopefully Obama will take the nomination... eventually ..and this trial by friendly fire will make him Tuff-eNuf for the actual race.
Hello Barack. It appears you are complacent with a number of voting situations where numerous Obama supporters were in one way or another disenfranchised.
This is setting a stage of complacency to be acceptable in November. Unless you handle this situation now, no matter how much we all need you to be President of this Country, it won't happen.
As a contributing supporter to your campaign, I must ask you that you not ignore this problem. This is life of death for America!
This country needs Obama! and he needs us to work hard to insure he gets there.Donate, do neighborhood rounds get the word out. How about that Bill Richardson tonight on Larry King, what a class act gotta love em , Thank you Bill!
CONTINUES... with more of everthing - what college education personal really thinks the supers will strip of him the title, so rightfully earned,, and hand it over to Clinton because she argued the longest. Clinton backer we all love this country -
Ok... Since we all agree (even the Clinton people) that it is mathematically immpossible for her to win - and with so many honorable, outspoken, policticians sayin "he's the best to run the country". What exactly is her plan. With more of EVERTHING
Plus she still got the Fatass Limbaugh effect in that he is urging these "moral" conservatives to go out and Vote Hillary to keep this charade going. Hillary is a Neo-Con just like McCain. It would not surprise me if McCain asks Hilrod to be his veep. They do after all both want to Bomb Iran!
Amen brother! Hillary Clinton should stay in the race she's exposing idiot america... and I thought only the Republicans could gather up the ignorant masses.
40% win in other states. You see, you swing state deficiency challeneged fool, Obama winning in IlL (ONLY big state he's won)
isn't as strategically important as the Democrats always win there. His wins in red states are also UNIMPORTANT because he has not shot in hell of winning Kansas (it is not, I repeat NOT a 'battleground' state, Bill Richardson!) in the Fall. Face it: Clinton absolutely destroys Obama's ass when it really counts!!!
This is simply the result of Hillary's dirty, low, unclassy tactics. She slandered and twisted Obama's words as much as she could. The woman is disgusting to my eyes (and to many other Americans, I am sure), AND in the end, karma will make her pay for her dirty politics.
too bad it was only an 8 or 9% lead...and ten freakin delegates to rip apart "her party?" are all of you in your mothers' and grandmothers' and aunts' faces to show them what she's really doing???
Ever get a "Comment pending approval!"? If you make an one opposing remark Obama staffers then identify you account name and censor your comments when they don't like what you post. They'll block your comments from all "their" videos. It's undemocratic! Try it if you don't believe me.
I honestly do not expect Hillary to win the nomination. The states she has to win, are mostly states Obama is sure to win, or atleast come close to.
She is dragging the campaign, and also running out of money. Sure she'd be a decent president, but Obama is sure to win the nomination, and sure to win the election.
we should all make a small donation 2 show our support and appreciation for Obama and how well he did to close that gap. They say its over. I'm not stoppin till the champagne is poppin.
FIRED UP! READY 2 GO!
Not until he's sworn in and he will be, because we're gonna fight for it even when we don't have to.
NBC carries more water for Obama than Molly Pitcher did for the colonial army. However, I would rather they help a good guy like Obama then Hillary Clinton.
She won it by 9.2 pts that the media keeps rounding up instead of down (as we were taught). Also, Hillary netted 10 delegates, not 18 as Chuck Todd was estimating. So, she's in even worse of a position, because now, she would have to win 70% in each and every remaining states yet to vote. This, of course, is impossible. Hillary is now the fly that keeps landing on your arm when you go to the horse stables; a nuisance that won't go away.
Down some 150 pledged delegates, and with almost no large states left, Hillary Clinton gaining a paltry 9 delegates in Pennsylvania, and winning by 9.3%, is NOT gonna cut it. In fact today the Gov of Oklahoma endorsed Obama, and he's a superdelegate, meaning in the last 24 hours, out of a 155 delegates, she's netted EIGHT.
To put that in perspective, Obama netted SEVEN delegates, in Mississippi!!! A primary that made the news cycle for about 5 minutes!
We know Obama has already won this. Hillary is dishonest ut I do like her swagger! She's tough! The NC RNC put up an ad against Obama so we need to fight hard! We need to go on the offense instead of remaining on the defense. Someone PLEASE tell me what nasty left wing 527 org I need to donate my money to b/c I am ready to go in the gutter with the GOP. Stop whining! We can hit McCain on: Hagee mental instability Social Security min wage war BUSH Economy healthcare
Chuck Todd is the only intelligent political analyst left on TV. Stephanopoulos, Russert, Chris Matthews, etc. are terrible - they need to grow some brains.
This race has been over since february. The on-the-fence superdelegates have kept it alive, but after Indiana and North Carolina the supers will run towards Obama.
I call for every Obama supporter to send him AT LEAST $5 right now so that we can shut Hillary up and show that Obama is truly the one carrying our voices!!!
I don't even have a job and I sent him another $25 last night! Let's show him our support...
Hillary cannot win the nomination. It's simple math. Hillary will need to win every single remaining state by a HUGE margin, and everyone, including Hillary, knows that this will not happen. Her last remaining option is to sway many, many superdelegates to her side. If Obama were to win the pledged delegate count (he will), and Hillary to win the nomination solely from superdelegate votes, the Democratic Party would be in an uproar, and I myself would leave the party in a heartbeat.
From a non-US p.o.v. this whole process is confusing. Bush has spread distrust of the US across the world. The Clinton/Obama race could do the same if it gets too bitchy. I know this is a campaign video, but the comments look a little kooky. Anyone non-partisan out there?
Whoever wins the Presidency needs to understand that in 'the US vs the World' the US is a minority.
Hilary is one of those kids you dont like to play with. she keep changing the rules like where playing basketball with her ball. She make up a story ,said like 10 times then it a mis-spoke.This is the true meaning winning is not everything or win the battle loss the war.
Chuck Todd is sounded like Billary (both of them) have no other options but to cheat for now on to win all 80% votes? SOooooooooo is that's possible to be done these days?!,.. Livewire- :P
10 % means too much for Hillary to get out yet too little for her to get the big victory she wanted.
Pennsylvania basically had absolutely no influence in either campaign; even though it's technically a win for Clinton, it's no victory - for either side.
Pennsylvania's vote counted, true, unlike Florida and Michigan - but it seems to be going to have as little influence on the outcome of the race as Guam on may 3rd is.
I really love this Race!!! This is reality television I love how the world is coming together and embracing each other...I think Hillary should stay in the race and fight!! Because this is gonna make Obama look even better!!....I freakin love America!!
that would split the democratic vote and I dunno if people would rather vote for obama instead of hillary and split the democratic vote and risk losing to a republican win.
yikes, ive never seen olbermann so nervous. The democratic party is fractured and doesn't look like it can recover to win a general election. You think the attacks have been vicious? This is only the begininng for these 2......
i love this argument, seriously do you get all your insight from tv pundits? recover? either of these 2 is going to wipe the floor with McCain. McCain won't be ready for the media barrage. he has already had numerous foot in mouth moments with absolutely no pressure on him. he will crack like an egg, bet on it.
I have a suggestion for all obama's supporters, if hilary steals the nomination from obama, when you go to the polls in November wear an obama shirt as a silent protest. He is the only person who will speak the truth. Keep your head up Obama, don't get in the gutter with Hillary.
Hillary has basically no prayer of winning, but she's only concerned with herself at this point. I can't stand her anymore, and I've never been a Hillary-basher.
Hillary was the only candidate on teh ballot in MI - so just how can you claim that the vote reflects the "popular vote"? I'll give you FL, but no way MI, and, without MI, Obama still has the popular vote.
...As if it matters. Obama is an elitist.

So "lol" the facts if you wish.

redbeast2 3 years ago
Okay, let's say that Flordia and Michigan did partake. I bet Hillary Clinton wins Flordia. But that Obama will keep it close in both states. As long as Obama pissyfoots this election, he wins. Hillary needs to dominate. And there's no way she will dominate with a pathetic foreign policy that suggets we "nuke Iran" that would amount to a WW3 and utterly destroy this country.

To the contrary, a 10% win in PA is like a
40% win in other states.
I honestly do not expect Hillary to win the nomination. The states she has to win, are mostly states Obama is sure to win, or atleast come close to.

Which, according to the Clinton camp, is "double digits".
Akin42 3 years ago
She won it by 9.2 pts that the media keeps rounding up instead of down (as we were taught). Also, Hillary netted 10 delegates, not 18 as Chuck Todd was estimating. So, she's in even worse of a position, because now, she would have to win 70% in each and every remaining states yet to vote. This, of course, is impossible. Hillary is now the fly that keeps landing on your arm when you go to the horse stables; a nuisance that won't go away.
catherinemc 3 years ago
Down some 150 pledged delegates, and with almost no large states left, Hillary Clinton gaining a paltry 9 delegates in Pennsylvania, and winning by 9.3%, is NOT gonna cut it. In fact today the Gov of Oklahoma endorsed Obama, and he's a superdelegate, meaning in the last 24 hours, out of a 155 delegates, she's netted EIGHT.
To put that in perspective, Obama netted SEVEN delegates, in Mississippi!!! A primary that made the news cycle for about 5 minutes!
The media is desperate for ratings.

detroitguy83 3 years ago
Hillary cannot win the nomination. It's simple math. Hillary will need to win every single remaining state by a HUGE margin, and everyone, including Hillary, knows that this will not happen. Her last remaining option is to sway many, many superdelegates to her side. If Obama were to win the pledged delegate count (he will), and Hillary to win the nomination solely from superdelegate votes, the Democratic Party would be in an uproar, and I myself would leave the party in a heartbeat.
bestusernameeverlol 3 years ago
From a non-US p.o.v. this whole process is confusing. Bush has spread distrust of the US across the world. The Clinton/Obama race could do the same if it gets too bitchy. I know this is a campaign video, but the comments look a little kooky. Anyone non-partisan out there?
Whoever wins the Presidency needs to understand that in 'the US vs the World' the US is a minority.
Good luck for a fair contest.

She only net 12 delegates in PA. This is less then he was projecting in the video.
entropyfu 3 years ago
Actually I'm quite disappointed...
All this for one reason: STUBBORN VOTERS.
