I agree with RattyRatson, both COD & BF3 are good games, Neither are great and have many issues but I enjoy both. As for one being more of a pain then the other its a toss up, quick scoping and 20' knifing is annoying, but so is a chopper with endless IR flares that can take 3-4 hits with rockets to be shot down, only to have a pilot bail 10' above impact and shot you and escape, WTF? Both are good and bad. I still play them both, their just different beasts requiring different tactics

I think that call of duty is like kid friendly where anybody can pick up the controller and play since it's easy to start and rank etc etc. But bf3 is more like you actually have to think.
