  • the holy ghost is a really satan. christianity is the most evil and vile religion ever.

  • @glower125 I have been in the street ministry for 33 years and never, never heard anyone blasphemy the Holy Spirit of God like you did . . . you are no doubt a reprobate and beyond repentance . . . but if you know you are wrong, I would repent and call on Jesus otherwise you will burn in hell forever! I command the devil to come out of you in Jesus name! READ: MARK 3:28-30

  • please go to God has put to death the doctrine of the initial evidence.

there you will find eight 15 mins videos on the falseness of the initial evidence doctrine, where by His word God puts to death this doctrine.

  • @ThePatooch No thanks, for your discouragement, i still believe this is the refreshing, God says they wouldn't believe . . "...with stammering lips and another tongue he would speak to this people..." ISAIAH 28:9-13

  • @jesuspeed yes you want others to listen to you, but you are not willing to listen to others, what kind of a man are you, you need to question your faith, for in the multitude of counsellors there is wisdom. if you are relying on yourself you wont make it. especialy setting yourself against the word of God.

  • @jesuspeed 'This people' in Isaiah is Israel = the Jews. And yes - they did not accept the Apostolic ministry despite the other (understandable) tongues (languages). Why did the 3000 on Pentecost not speak in tongues? Why did Peter say the HG fell on the gentiles AS ON THEM IN THE BEGINNING? Why did he not say ' as on us all the time'? Why did he suddenly 'remember' Jesus' words about the baptism of the HG? Does not sound like a continual patern to this reader. Repent!

  • @TonguesDoctrine Read 1 Cor. 14

  • @jesuspeed I read it hundreds of times. What in particular? Tongues are a sign for unbelievers (identified as Jews)? Or do you mean the conclusion were it says we should not go as far as forbidding tongues... but should covet prohesy? Or do you mean Pauls exhortation not to edify ourselves with the gifts but the others? Of course my spirit prays to God when I pray in a language that others cant understand, but my understanding will profit them only if I speak in a language they understand.

  • @kathrynsue1986 ,Bible says:"Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. "(Ac.2:38). If the person doesn't speak tongues,it doesn't mean that he or she is not baptized with the Holy Spirit. God's Word says that there are many gifts which the Holy Spirit gives to people, and tongues is just one of the many. Not every person who has Holy Spirit speaks tongues.Once again, read 1 Corinthians 12:4-12

  • @Davyd7777 absolutley spot on davyd and flesh and blood did not reveal that to you but my Father in heaven.

  • @Davyd7777 bless you brother for flesh and blood did not reveal that to you, but our Father in heaven,

you would appreciate my videos on the the truth about the baptism of the Holy spirit

just type that in the youtube searchbox

please continue to speak out against that false doctrine, and show these people for what they are decievers! who weaken the faith of many.

  • @kathrynsue1986 ,just believe, repent, and ask God for His Holy Spirit. Bible says the following: "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will {your} heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?"(Lk.11:13). People who are baptized with the Holy Spirit are not only the ones who speak with tongues. There are many other gifts. Holy Bible says: "Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit". Read 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 for more.

  • I wish it happend to me but it didnt :(

  • @kathrynsue1986 You were to honest to play along with the pentecostal's fake game. Praise God! Please learn from God and the Word and be careful with false teachers.

  • (continying)....To be filled with the Spirit is the same as the the ongoing process which start when the Holy Spirit comes upon a person and stay over him, same way as when Jesus was baptized...and as longer the Holy Spirit stay upon a person, that man becomes "filled", slowly or fast, with the mighty Holy Ghost power. But that process is continying ONLY if that person do what the bible says that he need to do, to be filled ALL THE TIME (Eph.5:18-21). It's about the submitting to God, you know!

  • @christ4u2now I know that when we are saved, we are baptized into Christ, at that time, we are sealed with the Spirit of His promise...at this point, this is the experience of every Christian...The Pentecostal, goes further with the language..."Baptized of the Holy Spirit"...as a experience that is subsequent to salvation, that is, a separate experience that happens after salvation. The experience is real, but may spring from the sealing when he was first saved...an initalizing into service.

  • Earlier I was used to believe that a baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate thing, and not same as being born again and receiving the Holy Spirit. But the more I read the bible and the more I prayed over wisdom of the thing, I have come to the conclusion that the baptism of the Spirit is same as receiving the Holy Spirit in a persons own spirit, which is the most holiest part in the trinity of a person because God's spirit dwells there. To "be filled with the Spirit" is not same thing as that.

  • the bible clearly teaches that on the day of pentacost they spoke in known languages not some wierd misterious laguage u must properly dived the word of GOD yes i belive the supernatural gift of tounges but what was it for?the bible clearly say you shall reiceve power to be my witness most people today that brag about the ubbliblical gift of tounges dont even witness or preach the gosple becouse its all about themselfs this teaching is herisy my freind i you need to be careful gal 1=9

  • @anthony7759 I won't try to convince you anymore...all spiritual revelation comes through the Holy Spirit and the word of God....Just pray and ask the Father in Jesus name who is right and go on with your life.

  • 1corithians 14 33 women where not permitted to speak in tounges espcialy to blaber the lord jesus does not bring confussion or contradic his word the bible says people will say youre mad the bible says if there is no interpatation keep silent!the bible says tounges will ceas the bible dictionary says& THE BIBLE SAYs evidence is the fruit of the spirit GAL.5-22 NOT A UNKNOWN TOUNGE!SHOW ME ONE PLACE IN THE BIBLE WHERE JESUS SAID TO PRATICE DOING A PAGAN STILE UTTERANCE?

  • the bibleholman bible dictionary say inthe book of acts 2=4 these tongues are know languages as clear from the following verses where the pilgrims from cappadocia =phrygia egypt ect HEARD THEM SPEAK OF WONDERS OF GOD IN THERE OWN LANGUAGES[the word dialektoi] or tonges[glossais=acts[2=11]here luke uses the two words dialektos [languages& glossa tounge, language interchangeably in other nt literature the terms are like wize both used to mean 'KNOWN LANGUAGES"!my friend stop thinking like a child

  • @anthony7759 We have a more sure word of prophecy than the dictionary Read...(2 Peter 19-21), don't accept a canned doctrine, pray and ask Jesus...Read (1 Cor. 14:21).....Read (Isaiah 28:9-11)

  • @anthony7759 go to this title and see eight videos on the untruths that have been preached for too long God has put to death the doctrine of the initial evidence.

there God Himself by His word shall reveal to you the truth, that the doctrine of the initial evidence is false, and that we all receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit the moment we believe.

  • jesus never said nothing about a heavenly language recieving the holyghost dont mean you speak in a uknown laguage you must understand what speaking in tounges is you said speak but paul the apsol said keep silent why are you adding to GOD WORD what does the bible say about adding or removing ser ? jesus never said to this fake tounge expression keep silent!

  • @anthony7759 Read what Jesus said in Mark 16:17: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues:..."

The Apostle Paul said by the Holy Ghost: "I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:"1 Cor. 14:18)

He also said "...forbid not to speak in tongues." (1 Cor, 14:39)

  • This is a really good video speaking the truth of the Word of God!! Amen!!

  • @pastorblove

Thanks for your encouragement...God Bless You!

  • @xxcstaleyxx Sounds good to me.

  • I have videos on my page explaining Tongues & 1 Cor 12-14.

  • @pastorblove - Once a believer has come to Christ, they can draw from Him all the graces needed to live a sustained sanctified life. He is the root by which we draw the sap until we bear His nature and His fruit....this is done by the purging effects of the cross God puts in our livies...we patiently bear the cross, relying on God's grace, and doing all things to God's glory. Our primary business in on serving others and towards their edification.

  • @dhood999 the great commission is to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of heaven in all the earth to bring an end to the age of evil that's ruled by Satan so that Jesus can usher in the age of the Kingdom of heaven. Problem is no one seems to know the gospel of the kingdom. The Holy Spirit was given to help us preach THIS gospel. The only gospel everyone knows is Jesus died & rose but Jesus cud not preach that while He lived. Do you know what the Gospel of the Kingdom is?

  • @pastorblove - actually the great commission is not to preach the gospel, but rather to make disciples of all nations and the means of doing that is to preach the Gospel. There is a very big difference. The church is a school of discipleship, for men and women to grow into the fullness and stature of Christ...to resemble and be like Christ in character ... this is only done through the work of the Spirit that regenerates our hearts. There is a relatively new movement called kingdom theology

  • @pastorblove - the main emphasis on kingdom theology is eschatology and in particular the church's role is to prepare the coming of Christ .. to evangelize, preach, social agenda...everything that on the outside appears that we are establishing the kingdom on earth...this is not orthodox in many ways...first the kingdom of heaven is a deeply inward reality that sows a seed inwards and made manifest at the appearing of Christ.

  • @pastorblove - the other error with kingdom theology is that it does not recognize that the church will be a persecuted church ... the true remnant of God will struggle and mourn in the overall tenor of it's existence here until she is saved and vindicated by the appearing of her Lord. Remember we are here to grow and be purified amist the affliction we experience...the awesome and grand wisdom of God most high.

  • @pastorblove - this does not mean that we don't evangelize, YES we absolutely do evangelize but the goal is two fold. One to glorify God and bring about what he has eternally decreed and the other is to edify the children of God in all nations that they may glorify the Father by bearing much fruit.

  • @dhood999 Yet and still you couldn't say what the good news of the kingdom is. If it was so important to Jesus, it should be just as impotant to us. What is the gospel of the kingdom?

  • @pastorblove - The gospel is simply this - repent or perish eternally in hell fire. He that loves his life in this world will lose it but he that hates his life and loses his life for my sake and the gospels will save it. After repenting and forsaking sin...then take up the cross of afflication and follow Christ the rest of the days of your life. That's it.

  • @dhood999 Ive been working a video about the Gospel of the Kingdom of heaven, its different from the Gospel of Jesus. The video will be up today, within the hour hopefully. It's Part 3 in my Kingdom of heaven series.

  • @pastorblove - the good news of the gospel is to tell dying and perish mankind that there is a way to salvation - Christ and Christ alone. Outside of Christ there is no hope whatsoever.

  • @xxcstaleyxx

Acts 19:1-7: "...Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?..."

Luke 11:13: "...how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?"

Luke 24:49: "And behold I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."

Acts 1:8: "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you..."

  • Thank you for clearing that up for me, God Bless.

  • @xxcstaleyxx Your argument is usually of them who have not received the HG baptism with evidence of tongues. The house of Cornelieus received the HG just as on the day of pentecost and they were gentiles. In Acts 8 with Phillip, there was a huge gap between when they receive Christ from when the got HG filled. The same with Paul in chpt 9, the same with the disciples in chpt 19. And then you're speaking of a diffrent tongues with THE GIFT OF DIVERS KINDS OF TONGUES, it is not the same.

  • I was agreeing with everything said until 3:14 when he said that the people where already saved, and then they received the Holy Spirit. In John 3:3, Jesus said that "no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." And later in verce 5 he explains that being born of the spirit is part of the new birth. Therefore, true salvation can only be after a person "is born or water and the Spirit" (John 3:5)

  • @Debjaz1980 The new birth makes one a candidate for the Spirit baptism, its totally separate from the water baptism. Jesus said: John 14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." Notice He said the "WORLD" cannot receive Him. So one must be born again, THEN they can receive Him (HG). You're only sealed with the HG when born again Eph 4:30.

  • I wanted it so bad we had a revival, they said anyone who wants it come forward i did .Every thought of distraction played in my head . Thoughts like what our your doing here your not Evan saved,in my heart i felt what better place.I raised my hands a voice saved its taking to long ,The evangelist saved to the crowed dont worry we got all night .Its the yielding your ears arent use to hearing something differnent out of your mouth.Speak it st-udder it no matter what it sounds like

  • GOD BLESS YOU!great and truthfull, prase the LORD JESUS.

  • @redivivusrisen

Thank you and God Bless You!

  • Wow, can people actually believe that the baptism is a heresy? Their nose buried in the book like the Pharisees, who knew their Bible but would not come to Jesus who was all over that book. Do a study on the Spirit in the Book and you'll be amazed.

  • You can be nothing if you want...I'm a king and a priest, Rev. 3:21 says I will sit in Christ's throne, I have partaken of the divine nature, I'm in Christ and He is in me, I'm a fruitful branch in Christ, the vine, I am a member of His body (He is the head) I'm full of the Holy Ghost and power, I use the name of Jesus and devils have to flee, I'm a son of the living God, God is my Father, I'm more than a conquerer through Him that loves me...,My friend this is just a sample...Who's a heretic?

  • This teaching of the baptism of the holy spirit is one of the great heresy of the modern era...as a fruit of arminianism and proponants like finney who departed from the orthodox faith, it has opened up all kinds of strange twisting of God's truth to make MAN relavant....the TRUE gospel will teach that you are nothing ABSOLUTLEY nothing ... if you turn to Christ and live for Him and given a new heart by the Holy Spirit then the purpose of the Holy spirit is to make you into the image of Christ

  • @dhood999

    Read Acts 19:1-7, Luke 11:13, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 10:44-48

  • @dhood999 You have no concept of the kingdom & its power.

  • @pastorblove - a wicked and preverse generation seeketh after signs and wonders....it is true the Holy Spirit gives utterance and power to boldly preach the Gospel...but in no way is the Christian emphasis on power or doing any kind of self promotion. The people that run around today talking about baptism of holy spirit and seeking glory for themselves. They interest is not to abase self and promote Christ but rather they read things in scripture that appeal to the wickedness of flesh!!

  • @dhood999 Have you been granted some special power to read the hearts of men & judge them accordingly? And if you're gonna quote scripture, use it in context. Jesus made that statement in response to those asking of Him a sign of his Messiahship. What language does the spirit speak when its praying? What language does heaven speak? In my bible there was a manifestation in tongues when ppl got filled. If you feel diff, so be it. My bible says in 1Cor 12:13 we were baptized INTO one Spirit.

  • @pastorblove - You are simply misusing context and hiding behind the context...seeking signs when they have Christ in front of them is a clear display of wicked unbelief...whether it was in regards of the messiahship or anything else. Here is the verdict to all the pentecostal/charismatic apostate churches....THEY DO NOT SEEK CHRIST...they seek how they maybe lifted up. I truly wonder if those so adamant about speaking in tongues are truly saved

  • @pastorblove - Those seeking baptism of the holy spirit without laborious and diligent study in the word to have the word implanted and taken root ... to discover greater depths of the Gospel so they may SOBERLY love Christ ARE HYPOCRITES.....I can tell you that this choas and circus that is going on in the charasmatic church has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit.

  • Q@dhood999 seems like you're to concerned with everyone else, work out your own salvation in fear & trembling. Jesus said these SIGNS shall follow them that believe...they WILL speak in new tongues. You don't have to be a scholar to receive this baptism. Cornelieous' whole house got it by FAITH. If you don't believe it , that's yourright but stop discouraging others. Lk 11:52

  • @pastorblove - sorry brother, I don't mean to discourage you. However I just feel like the lamb was slain .. he who knew no sin was made sin for us...we ask Christians should be primarly concerned about serving Christ, loving Christ, forsaking sin, carry the cross daily and die to self so that somehow we may experience the power of His resurrection. The speaking in tongues movement focus is on self not Christ...so what if we have that gift or not...what's the point of even mentioning it?

  • @dhood999 what is the gospel? If you had to explain it, what is it?

  • @pastorblove - I would explain the gospel as such: First one must understand the holy nature of God - He is perfectly just. If you commit murder you can't let go free without a greater crime of injustice by the judge...God can not forgive sin simply by saying you are forgiven...each crime must be payed for! Every human being including and after Adam are DEAD in sin, meaning they can't come to Christ unless a supernatural power of God to change the heart through preaching of the Word.

  • People...please dig into your Word and humbly submit to the Scriptures...GOD does not just randomly do stuff...HE knows what HE is doing...everything has its proper time and place...that is why we have Scriptures that says at the "right time" CHRIST died for the ungodly - Romans 5:6...and "when the fullness of time had come, GOD sent HIS SON" - Galatians 4:4...even the law had its proper place and time..."therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to CHRIST" -Galatians 3:24

  • @dlpolite

I don't get it, whats your point regarding the Baptism?

  • @jesuspeed

the point is back to my first post....you dont see the Apostles praying and telling people to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit...Acts 8:17 the laid on hands...Acts 19:6 Paul laid on hands...Hebrews 6:1-2 laying on of hands is an elementary principle...my point is that if you are going to teach on it or take part in it at least be Scriptural...what was done in this video was not Scriptural.

  • @dlpolite

It is a matter of faith in the revealed Word of God, which you are struggling with,

You don't know and were taught wrong, lets just break it off, you limit the Holy one of Israel. I love you in Christ Amen.

  • @jesuspeed

    Romans 10:17

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith isn't a "I believe what I want to believe" type thing. It comes from the Word of GOD. It is revealed...in HIS Word.

    Acts 18:8

Then Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized.

  • @jesuspeed

And the two times that we see the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues without laying on hands is in Acts 2 and Acts 10 which was not man initiated but rather man had nothing to do with it...Acts 2:2 "...suddenly there came a sound from heaven..."...Acts 10:44 "while Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell..."

  • So whats your problem with laying of hands?...anyway...

":how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Luke 11:13) The Church needs to be endued with power from on high. (Acts 1:4-8)...and many have not heard whether there be any Holy Ghost (Acts 19:1-7) You don't have to tarry, it's available now, the problem is many are confusing being baptized into Christ with the Baptism/Spirit the former is when you are sealed with the Spirit of promise.

  • @jesuspeed

I don't have a problem with laying on of hands. I called it a elementary principle...a foundational truth because that is how it is stated in Hebrews 6. And laying on of hands is how the Apostles gave the gift of the Holy Spirit in which we see the evidence of speaking in tongues...they did pray and command people to receive it...so if you are going to do it at least be Scriptural about it and do it how they did it.

  • @dlpolite I received it by faith alone in the parking lot of my job 16yrs ago. No one laid hands on me, I in essence did a touch the hem of his garment deal. I didn't wait for someone, I was hungry for it. The violent take it by force. Asking by faith is the key cuz He promised it to us. Cornelieus hous had no one lay hands on them.

  • @jesuspeed

Futhermore, it was so apparent that laying on of hands was the way it was supposed to be done that even Simon the Sorcerer realized it:

    Acts 8:17-18

17 Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

18 And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, 19 saying, Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.

  • @jesuspeed

If you believe it and are going to do it...please do it Scripturally....we have enough confusion. May GOD richly bless you.

  • furthermore...the presence of GOD is not in yelling and confusion...the presence of GOD and HIS SPIRIT is in fruit...you know the tree by its fruit...you know an orange tree because it produces oranges...you know an apple tree because it produces apples...you know in whom and where the SPIRIT is present by fruit...love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control - Galatians 5:22-23

  • @dlpolite Fruit & Gifts are different. Fruit takes time to produce, a gift is given instantaneously. There's no labor involved when we receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost and the evidence of that gift is manifested then. The same as if you heard a funny joke, you laugh then, that's how anyone around and you know its funny to you. Out of the belly shall flow rivers of living waters.

  • GOD says it and we do it...we don't make up another way...GOD paints the picture of Salvation through the death of HIS SON JESUS on the cross...and then GOD tells us how to receive HIM...but we become innovative and say hey, "you can just say a prayer"...but we don't see that anywhere in Scripture...and if we consider Scripture to be GOD's Word then who are we to change GOD's Word...just like King Saul...GOD said destroy...he got innovative and said I will sacrifice instead.

  • @dlpolite

Why do you insist on insulting me...as far as the prayer for salvation...in the mouth of two witnesses, let every word be established..."Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lor shall be saved." (Romans 10:12) and, "That if thy confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

  • there is a such thing as sound doctrine...and teaching must be consistent with the whole of Scripture...all of it...not just one verse...Scripture does not contradict Scripture...and at the very least do what is seen in Scripture...Salvation is in the mind of GOD...not in the mind, thoughts, and feelings of man...from the very beginning faith and obedience have always been the point...check Adam in the Garden, Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, King Saul not destroying the Amalekites

  • if we are really talking about being Scriptural...we do not see anywhere in Scripture where it says to say a prayer to receive salvation. Also, outside of the Apostles and Cornelius's household, the only way the Holy Spirit was given in which we see speaking in tongues is by the laying on of hands by the Apostles...not anyone else...the Apostles didn't say a prayer and command that people receive the Holy Spirit...they layed on hands...the Apostles...which is why Philip could not do so

  • The Holy Ghost w/fire is so more....... Too many churches and not enough of the presence of God's Spirit. The church can wipe out Obamacare with the believers that are on fire. Are we ready for a move of God that will shake the harvest?Rev.Sean Spearman(Power Prayer ministries) Detroit,Mi.

  • lol, dude where is your evidence. And you speak in terms of we, as if you and I experienced everything "the holy spirit" went through.

  • "He told them to wait in Jerusalem to they be endued with power from on high" This was a great teaching in only 5:20 "Our church needs a revival today" Good stuff

  • @PeteKwiatkowski Thanks Peter, you are a real encouragement...bless you

  • Not exactly inspiring

  • Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? (Acts 19:2)

  • you know, praying in the Holy Spirit, is just what the word says it is .. it renews us .. it PURIFIES us, it keeps us on a holy path ... and so much more! no wonder the flesh fights against it and one of the biggest lies christians live under is "not needing" the Holy Spirit .. when the word, Jesus Himself, stressed the importance and command of doing so. Right on video! It is biblical ... I pray that those who need to hear this word of God, finds the video and are blessed.

  • Thanks, may many discover the infilling and power of the Spirit.

  • I have to disagree with jesuspeed...(1) Get baptized in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit...its one of Jesus commands. ...All commands whether by the Prophets or the Apostle or Jesus, do not contradict one another. This formula was never used in the bible. No examples! Acts 2:38 is the only scriptural baptism and there are at lest three examples in the N.T.

  • There is no contradiction, when one is baptized in the name of the Son...he is baptized in the name of Jesus...but don't forget the rest of the Trinity, if you want to add in the name of Jesus...go ahead, but use the formula Jesus gave.

  • biblical truth / 5 stars & more! not enough preaching/teaching on this .. too much marketing clouding out the Truth ... ty for sharing

  • Get baptised in The Lord Jesus Christ, in that name is the fullness of the God head.Colosians 2;9

  • I receive the holy spirit but I never been water baptizied. I don't speak in tounges and all though,

  • (1) Get baptized in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit...its one of Jesus commands. (2) We all receive the Holy Spirit when we are saved..."sealed with the Spirit of promise"

    (3) The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is subsequent to salvation and equips the saint with gifts and power and is manifested with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues and is received from Jesus by faith. Receive now in Jesus name...Amen.

  • I got water baptizied today. Nothing feels different honestly.

  • Don't go by feelings...go by faith!...

  • Question? If the tongues that they spoke in the Day of Pentecost where human languages of other countries how come this days almost no one speaks other languages as they used to? Also they say there is a second baptism which is of the wholy spirit, but Paul says that all of us who believe have been baptized into one spirit, and also they say that the seal of the wholy spirit is not the same as the baptism of the wholy spirit. Am new christian, Thanks

  • Tonite I prayed to received this special tongue, I received it after I trully confessed my sins. How I know i received it? I asked according to His will (! john 3:14-15) and now I need to practice it. PTL.

  • Your Hunger for God was rewarded, God bless you!

  • Thank you for your teaching work and your efforts to reach the lost for Jesus.

You are a precious treasure to Almighty God whom sees every sparrow fly. You are the blessed and not the cursed, God said it, that settles it.

  • i think you need to be baptized in water in order to receave the Holy Spirit. Because the Bible says: "Repent and be baptized for the remission of sins and you shall receave the gift of the Holy Spirit"

  • As a help to someone that is studying the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gift of "speaking in other tongues"; what is the difference between the work and presence of the Holy Spirit when someone becomes born again and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?

  • Everyone receives the Holy Spirit at the new birth, they are sealed with the Spirit of promise. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, however, is an infilling that comes after salvation with power and gifts of the Spirit with the outward evidence of speaking in a heavenly language (or earthly) commonly referred to as tongues. This best enables the Christian to be a witness for Christ. See: Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-3, Acts 8:14-17, Acts 10:45-48, Acts 19:1-7, Luke 11:9-13, Mark 16:17-18, Isaiah 28:11-12

  • I been praying for weeks still havn't receive it. I need it to help myself to stop sinning and so god can use me.

  • If you have received Jesus as Savior by faith...repenting, now claim the Baptism of

the Holy Spirit by faith expecting to speak in a heavenly langage. Acts chapters ,1,2,8,10,19, Luke 11

  • I wonder if you been baptised in water too?

  • Holy Spirit is a plural, Holy is not just set aside for certain use, but a past tense ability....I don't read or hear anybody here mentioning the revelatory gifts which are so necessary to have a walk with the gods?

Now the real work comes, learning how to wait on the spirit, finding out what real prayer is, what to do and what not to do, following Jesus's example of development, and not his flesh, spend a lot of time unlearning what u thought u knew, line upon line, precept upon precept

  • I'm happy for you, God will use you...read

I Cor. 12-14 how that God has gifts for you

    God Bless You!

  • I receievd the Holy Spirit last night at church for the first time. I had been praying for it for a while, and God answered my prayers! I Love the Lord so much! I only desire to glorify HIm and for him to use me. Praise his name!!

  • he said around 3:23 that in Acts 8 they were already saved, before they recieved the Holy Spirit.. he taught as if it was an extra flow.. but can one be saved without holy spirit? rom 8:9. secondly the sinners prayer is not biblical? he basically just taught the same thing that others teach that create false conversions. my point the baptism of holy spirit is the born again experience neccessary to claim salvation..

  • Acts 8:14-17: "...Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen on none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost."

Read Acts 19:1-7: Another case where the Spirit was received after salvation. But don't mistake the Baptism of the Spirit with ...(being sealed with the Spirit of promise) which happens at salvation...(Ephesians 1:13)

  • God bless! It's true, we need the Holy Ghost today just like they had in the Bible. If you really love the Lord, why wouldn't you love his spirit? Keep on telling it.

  • The Lord God is truly worthy of our praises

  • praise his name forevermore saints.
