"You're a boy king. You're a foot smarter than the smartest kids in the class. You're blessed with inspiration. You must know this by now. You must have sensed it". This is the essence of the character of Jed Bartlett and it might be my favourite quote from the show. This scene makes me happy every time I watch it.
Even watching this now, despite not having watched the episode leading up to it for a good year, I'm welling up over the thought of Mrs Landingham dying.
I agree withyou cards... this was my most bittersweet episode of the west wing because I loved watching her so much, even so the episode was sp perfectly acted and directed and the casting was spot on brilliant!!! Thanks for your comment...
She was so perfect as a young Delores Landingham. I loved seeing how their relationship began, and they bonded. How he needed her as governor and president. That was a hard episode when we lost her.
They couldn't have found someone better to play a young Mrs Landingham

Great scene when she says "You don't have a big sister and you need one" reminds me of my sisters.

That scene was so important. Anyone who thought the question at the end was a lingering mystery needed to go back and watch this scene again.

I remember being so annoyed they killed her character but ultimately, it became my absolute favourite episode.

You can see she was good for him though :)
