Hypnosis in no way allows a person to remember anything more clearly; quite the contrary, it invokes false-memories. The mind doesn't remember every single vivid event that has happened during a person's lifetime; there are gaps, and under hypnosis it's very common for a person to create false memories to fill in those gaps.

During hypnosis a person is completely awake, and their mind focuses on what is in their direct field of activity, which means that anything that is spoken by the hypnotist is immediately transformed into imagery that the mind transforms into a sense of reality. I like Dolores Cannon's books. I think I have them all except for the 3rd Convoluted Universe. I've read the 1st Convoluted Universe about 3 times!! I just wish I could be the one asking the questions to someone that is able to tap into their sub conscious or their higher self. Her questions are very interesting but sometimes I wonder why she doesn't ask things like how to cure cancer or that type of thing. If you have access to the answer of any question that would be on the top of my list :-)
