Y U NO MAKE GOOD MUSIC ANYMORE?!

  • Burns turned ND into typical Florida Death metal here.

Heavy but neither anarchic or complex.

I notice a lot of you who like this era ND, don't like there other stuff. There you go...

  • @ExtremeBogom Bullshit. The only Burns' influence here is sound, but nothing else - Burns didn't write songs for ND. Lack of complexity is a nature of grindcore, if you want something "complex" then go and listen to some jazz stuff or something. Despite of recording this album at Morrisound, they still managed to stay different from bands like Death, Deicide, Obituary, Morbid Angel and all the other Florida bands - which is a nice win for Napalm.

  • @NapalmDeathMania

Ya, but the audio mix has a big influence on the overall sound, that's what I meant.

Napalm Death is Napalm Death after all. But yeah, Scott Burns production didn't do them justice.

  • All Hail Barney!!!!

  • thank you for 9 dishlikes now we have really good joint! :D

  • this song takes me back to the first concussion in a pit i had in 7th grade.Long live the brutality of Napalm Death! RRRAAAAARRRR!!!!!

  • this was cool.

    brutal, melodic, simply brilliant.

not like these fk metal bands today. they all SUK! BREAKDOWNS BLA BLA BLA, SHUT THE FK UP AND GET IN THE PIT.

  • uncompromised intro

  • ruling song ever...

  • To all those bickering, breakdowns started in jazz. It was a point in which the song switched to half-time or the rhythm section just drops out. But in generally, a breakdown's true use it to diverge from the previous rhythm of the song.

Nobody called it an Emmure breakdown or anything... And it totally beats anything Emmure ever wrote.

  • grrreat!

  • 8 dislikes can suck me off!!!

  • 2:03 drummer fan :D Brilliant! :D

  • my heart pumps metal blood

  • best breakdown of any metal song ever at 2:50

  • @pud that's not a breakdown dude!

  • @Boztongore68 ..yes it is, breakdowns in this kind of stuff came wayyy before deathcore breakdowns.

  • been produced by Scott Burns it sounds more as a death metal

    however, it is GLORIOUS

  • sick stuff sounds like cannibal corpse

  • Harmony corruption is close to death metal but what an album it is ! I consider it one of the best albums of all time

  • faster harder please.

  • This is grindcore at its best! Me and Jerry saw them when we grew up in Detroit, and they melted our faces off. Bad ass.

  • @crablouse1: the harmony corruption-album was rather close to death metal, don't you think. in general you're right that nd did very good grindcore, but before harmony corruption.

  • Napalm Death is grindcore, but this is more close to Death Metal. I would say the best song they have ever made

  • i don´t know what genre is it , but <3 i love it

  • \m/\m/

  • nothing nowadays to compares to harmony corruption, the true death metal

They were sharing the bill with Death, Sepultura, Sick of it All and another band, can't remember- I was drunk and very young and the pit was FANTASTIC! Those were the true metal days, good times!

  • @mrselfdestruct23 yey, saw them in 93 with obituary in manchester, some of the pits are still the best iv ever been in.
