I did that exact routine when I was about ten, over 50 years ago! There is no "the secret" to the cups and balls. There are countless variations, some of which require great dexterity and misdirection. Watch Dai Vernon or Fred Kaps do the cups and balls here on YouTube. Whole different thing.
