Thinks about the power to weight ratio dumbass. srt 10, 505 hp 6 sp, at 4500 lbs, a ss silverado supercharged runs wat mayb 400 hp and prob not even at the wheels and weighs in around 4700 lbs, do the math, if the srt was supercharged it would be pushing 600 hp to the wheels, you could put a 150 shot of nos on top of that supercharged piece of shit ss and still not get that

I raced one when i had my 17's a new 5.7 big horn edition around 45 roll i took off on him but he had like 3 ppl inside so it might be a closer race with just drivers and 4wd is pussy shit RWD is the shit!

that is partially correct, the old 454 ss silverado's did hve the big block 7.4 454 in them but they were only built for a few years in the early 90's. the newer silverado ss has the 6.0 ls based engine that puts out around 345hp which is almost double what the old 454 put out.the new ss would kill the old one stock for stock but i do have to admit i love those old black 454ss trucks,even tho they were underpowered and fairly slow by todays standards. they had 230hp and ran 15.7 1/4mile.

im not saying that the ss isnt a nice truck, BUT I have an 06 ram hemi which is stock (not srt) and Ive raced 2 ss silverados and both times were neck and neck (and i dont consider my truck fast)... motortrend even did a comparison on them (look it up)... so stock, the ss isnt that fast. this guy has alot of work done and the srt guy didnt know how to drive... so basically, if you want a fast SS, get the Trailblazer. and insurance is cheap on the 07 and earlier ones!
