HAWX afterburner achievement trophy

Well I just discover that to unlock this achievement, count all the time you've flown at that speed in the campaign mode, or if you already did some missions, that will be combined, I tried with the and in 15 minutes had the achievement unlocked. same for the achievement of  practice makes perfect (spend 1 hour flying in Assistance OFF mode), I put the tape back and in less than half an hour that achievement had been unlocked.

And if I didn't work in free flight the achievement would of said single player, since the campaign tab holds single player and free flight.

BEWARE! The jet will fly in a circle at mach 2 but that circle will constantly change direction. Image a circle drawn with a pencil, then draw another circle on that circle but this time its only halfway on the circle you drew first, the draw another circle repeating. eventually that circle will move beyond the boundary of the map. now your hour is wasted. Make sure you do this in a safe place on the map. But it does work.

But the achievement description says in story mode. Does free flight count as well?

If you do this in assistance off mode wont you get two achievements Practice makes perfect and Afterburners

@djpj1111 Well, Mach 1 is about 1224 km/h ... so.... Above 2450 should be okay... but just in case, full throttle, because you wouldn't want to waste an hour of your time =).

wow it's a vid to show an easy way to get an achievement... don't get so worked up about it. BTW, I'd rather get it quickly in free flight than in normal campaign all day, since you have to slow down to attack efficiently.
