It's interesting that very similar dance (even in similar clothes) exists on other end of globe, among indigenous people of Bolivia and Peru, called Tinku.
Some parts of any cultures can best be preserved, but not intact cultures.
There is interpersonal relations to considered; otherwise there is segregation. Interpersonal relations erode cultural identity naturally and for the best for all.
The Tibetan identity would likely die in China after a few generations, hopefully so would the Hawaiian culture in the USA, hopefully.
Yes..you are right!! To let Tibetans to take care of Tibetans' culture and heritage so in that way, " Tibetans can really take care of their stuff!!! Not bother by Chinese government because they like to " Destory " it not protecting it !! You got that!! Otherwise, why lots of Tibetans need to fight to protect their culture and heritage by advocating them to protect them as well!!!

Yee people are living in Yunnun sice 1200 years ago.
This place is Yunnun near by Lijiang city.
Erhu (two string Chinese violin) is Yunnun musical instrument which Yee people like very much. They play erhu at outdoor and inner house.
This MTV producer was Yee person.
