And in that time, we've developed ways to keep birds out of the pond, one of which is netting over the waste pond. The company you're referring to didn't put that net up, therefore they were fined. The two compliment each other very well because electric cars have batteries, and wind power is a mere 9 cents/kWh unsubsidized. We lost the production industry completely. Go to the Mall of choice and check for Made in USA. There's none. This doesn't work anymore as the USD is constantly loosing value and china meanwhile litteraly owns this country. Any import, incl. energy becomes increasingly expensive. To go back to a productive..
...industry and export, the USD has to go even lower. Totally independent from whether you believe in Climate Change, you should therefore support any energy saving and inland production of energy resources.

And in that time, we've developed ways to keep birds out of the pond, one of which is netting over the waste pond. The company you're referring to didn't put that net up, therefore they were fined. And when we develop things like nets and what-not to stop the birds from getting hit then they will be fined for not putting them up. But nothing's been written into law yet

The two compliment each other very well because electric cars have batteries, and wind power is a mere 9 cents/kWh unsubsidized. With widespread electric vehicle use (which is definitely going to happen because I have seen the next generation of batteries which is much cheaper and charges fast), wind's market penetration can be huge. They are a great way to power EVs, and they kill the least wildlife

But it's only growing. The latest news is that Arctic sea ice is dramatically thinning because it's unable to build up between seasons like it used to. Why? Because the climate is measurably warming due to man-made CO2 inputs. Scientists actually studying the topic are nearly unanimous on that point.
But ignore that as well, like a good Creatard oil-addict.

From the mining of the minerals, to the production of the mineral for it's eventual use for energy, and for the end use itself? Tailings ponds, spills, tritium leakage, nuke plant failings - esp the minor ones that we DON"T hear about, etc etc etc ....

I don't think any wind farm pays for the birds they slice up. Heck I don't think any wind farm can turn a profit with out the government giving them tax money.

Let me put my opinion right. I am not a supporter of all crazy organic bullshit. However, some things on this planet have to change sooner or later. One of these is that we need a new source of energy, ideally within the US itself that makes the US independent from imports of such.

... Two reasons for this. The US economic crisis is based on the bizarre fact that its right now more or less purely based on importing goods from china and any form of trade of these goods. We lost the production industry completely. Go to the Mall of choice and check for Made in USA. There's none. This doesn't work anymore as the USD is constantly loosing value and china meanwhile litteraly owns this country. Any import, incl. energy becomes increasingly expensive. To go back to a productive..
