now it turns out i have to start the entire game all over again, damn it!

I got into trouble right away and had to run, so i missed the crobar completely, the guy didnt even say anything about it. So i got the guns and killed everyone, realized i am going to need a crowbar and went looking for it, i must have been to that spot several times, the crowbar didnt even exist. Loaded some save and found the crowbar then, but cant get burnham out anymore. All saves are overwritten so yeah :D

I did not kill the guard (who kill with the handle), I went straight to Brian and we left, we reached the wooden door does not open, and I thought overwriting save the game, now every time I come I always escape and kill me, I can not even get to the underground tunnel.

I regret very much English, but blame the google translator.

Also is Mackey the Gman then? He appears everywhere you go to and has mysterious contacts of higher officials making him work. Guy gets around. Also, I think this game can be forgiven for its exposition because A. Your going to die. Allot. Exposition is just the way the creators had thought in providing some leniency otherwise this game would be even more impossible making less people play for it's hard redo-learning curbs. B. This game on paper is probably the best storytelling adaption...Cont.

@Gjkl345 of any game simply because it takes everything good from HP Lovecraft and copies the structure. That in no way is bad because this game promises and succeeds with what many games have flat out failed to do. Intereaction blended with good storyline. With that said, if we're speaking of it strictly as a game retconing a author and his books, then we're basically allowed to assume their will be more inner-dialogue from the character making his constant obvious deductions bareable.

But that's beside the point. I'd actually grab some Mythos Tomes and start reading them (thereby going insane in the process). At least I'd have Mythos magic at that point. IA, Shub-Niggurath!

Steam, 12 quid! Not a bad deal! Unless you mean on Xbox, then ebay would be your best bet. If you are planning on playing it on a 360 though, be aware that it can freeze and as such is best played on a regular Xbox.

I'm playing this game on my 360, and it's perfect. I was enjoying it very much, but once arrived in the chapter where you have to escape from innsmouth with te car, it freezes suddently. The disc is brand new... I really don't know what cuould have happened.

This is the part I am up to at the moment. And this game is based on The Shadow over Innsmouth by H.P. Lovecraft with little hints of other stories and references. I find it amusing that Henry is insane in a jailcell in this game heh....and Tom Waites, that's a nice little reference. I hope Cthulhu is somewhere in this game...or at least Dagon.

I did everything in this scene in a different order (showed Brian the postcard, killed guys and got guns, went through sewers, got keys and freed Brian, went to garage) and EVERYTHING glitched. I never once saw the chief, Brian never left his cell, and the scene with Mackey never ended, making it impossible to finish. Oh well, guess I'll have to restart the whole damn game.

man something that really blows goats is that every time you fire the shot gun it counts as like 35 shots fired... as soon as anyone of you pick up the shot gun, shoot a random round and then pause and go to statistics, so its pretty much impossable to finish the game with over 100% accuracy ( you get 200% accuracy if you make a head shot with the rifle or pistol)

that vision of enemy on rooftop, go near the burning car outside and you can make the creature up on the roof, make notice of vision and find where he could be watching from. you can make out his silhouette , thi shappens in entire game, so whenever you see rooftop vision of enemies make notice of location and go find them on some rooftops or windows.

than you wait behind the little wall next to the crapper in the corner and he want notice you when he comes in and thaN you can smash him in the back and get brian unnoticed then while moving through the sewers they'll nitice brians missing
