look at all of the believers in Jesus who are constantly condemning those who do not share their beliefs and forget the love your neighbour part, the turn your other cheek part, the let those who have never sinned cast the first stone part. They believe in the man and forget what he said, where the real work is, the stuff that separates believing children from the tru practitionner. Hail hail Jesus, now let's go out and kill those Taliban.
Was someone actually there who copied his exact words with every nuance ? How easy it is even face to face with someone - your girlfriend or boyfriend, husband or wife, to misinterpret or misunderstand what they are attempting to express. Thank God for the wise. It is the believers and the dogmatic who are so stuck on literal meanings who have the hardest time living the teaching.
Jesus spoke in parables, the Bible is in parables, and is to be interpreted. Therefore, do not take it work-for-word: Son might mean anything, father might mean anything, God might even mean anything, and Heaven might just be a metaphor. Let us evolve spiritually, rather than being attached to primitive beliefs. Do you think an enlighteneed master cares where your teaching comes from, so long as it leads you to freedom and happiness?
Thanks for viewing and for the comment mrcuteblackie. The movie is actually about ONENESS... and as mentioned in the film, it has nothing to do with being the same, so thank you for sharing your views. And yes, a lot in the Bible are metaphors, if not all, hehehe. Thank You for sharing your thoughts, feelings and your time.
@mrcuteblackie Even freedom and happiness are loaded terms. Someone once said that The best things are unable to be communicated in human language, the second best things are difficult to talk about, so we wind up mostly talking about the third best things.
@bettysman True. Since people started going to church and mosque, the world is not a better place. This is because they talk about the third best things only.
the mystic vs the believer

Jesus gave just 2 commandments.
Love God as your Father.
Love your brothers as you Love yourself.
That covers it.
Christians still don't get it !

Do we really know what Jesus said ?

Oh East, How can I ever know you
When I can never even meet you?
Yet how can I even know I exist
without knowing you exist?
Could it be that You and I are ONE?

...for there is no Other.
You and the Other are One.
Always had been,
always will be.
You just thought that You weren't
and now,
You know.

Let me share one of the lines of the song the Prayer:
And We'll remember WE ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN...
.....
and Believing we are a Children of God is as you already know different from the KNOWING
that we are indeed Children of God.
And let me ask what are the implications of being a child of God? What are the qualities of God. :)

Jesus: the Son of God.
Jesus: Lord at thy Birth.
Jesus: Came to teach us the way the truth and the Light.
God Himself came to bring PEACE on earth let us know that LIFE is ETERNAL.
So the question really is, are we living like Christ? and are we at peace with ourselves and with each other?
Ponder that for a while

All beings are words of God,His music, His
art.Sacred books we are, for the infinite camps in our souls.Every act reveals God and expands His being.I know that may be hard
to comprehend. All creatures are doing their best to help God in His birth of Himself.
Enough talk for the night. He is laboring in me; I need to be silent for a while, worlds are forming in my heart. -Meister Eckhart
