2nd was a definite improvenment... even special forces are sometimes prone to make some blunt mistakes, trained with a guy from SEK(german special police unit) and he told me some 10 years ago, they would use a spinning heel kick to knock out opponents...imo the israelis are a bit to arrogant, hardly ever accept external advice...guess the BOPE is the best in the world today, when its come to ccq tactics; cousin of mine is with them and he really knows his craft

@thetaxman878 The Israelis probably use CQB tactics in real operations more than anyone else in the world. Units like the army's Duvdevan and Border Police YAMAM and YAMAS operate on a daily basis and actually get to test these tactics out against highly agressive and well armed opponents. One could logically asume that this practical experience would be very useful in forming tactics.

@pkbjorn35 The fact is that in high tempo highly violent operations muzzle sweeps are going to happen as quite often range niceties are the first thing to go out the window. It all comes down to trigger and saftey discipline.

@ginjaninja1988 No, impossible There are no problem in doing drills like this without putting your loaded gun behind your team m8`s ear. Saying otherwise have no clue or have a bad instructor. I was in a specialforce for 8 years, and we never did this. one mistake and your buddy is dead with these drills. I been rapelling from roofs, blasting in doors and windows, and we never had problems getting the targets and not pointing at our m8s. :-) only in a hail of bullets would i do it like this vid.

Yes it is. the students practiced many times and corrections were made. Also, if you note when the door is open barrels are already pointing in to eliminate any possible threat even before entry.

Isn't it kind of a bad idea to linger in the doorway (fatal funnel) like that? I mean they basically stand there in the doorway to clear almost the whole room, I was always taught to get inside and dominate the room right away.

From that angle (top view), with short weapons pistols and mini Uzis it seems that they may not aware but they are. That doesn't mean that mistakes are made during training. This was one of dozens repetitions. Good eye.

@richter28459 My very limited Portuguese knowledge (I think it's Portuguese) tells me: "That team is very trapped, I saw a weapon crossing everyone's head (Nuca does not mean head, just my interpretation), that shooter would have fallen at the entrance searching for something similar, dumb fly." (I clarify, I have a very limited knowledge of Portuguese, but you don't have to be a genius to know that dude is ranting).
