Damn, I saw some video footage of the Wemotaci forest fire that has continued for several days, its similar to this. I live in Gatineau, Quebec in Canada and the fire was in Wemotaci I think near Buckingham, and the winds blew the smoke to Gatineau and Ottawa, this morning it smelled like fire wood and I could see a thin layer of smoke EVERYWHERE in Gatineau
not from 2007.. the afternoon of 23 august 2009 you could hardly breath north of athens...the video is from that disaster in dionysos behind pendeli...some hours later he fire crossed and toped pendeli and fires could be seen from all the capital city...220000 acres burned
This video is from 2007.. Thousands of people lost everything in some hours..Because most of the firefighters went to protect ancient olympia and left all the other ppl to fight with the flames alone.. sry for my bad english
the fire was so huge that bulgaria and serbia had to go to greece and help them!
