That sunburn analogy is just brilliant. Coming from the India, where the culture encourages high consumption of starches, I can really relate to the overexposure of carbohydrate and its effect on the body, because both my parents are diabetics. The problem is that my father and my mother bought into the high carbohydrate/low fat dogma. This only worked to exacerbate the severity of their diabetes. They truly are victims of misinformation.
