5 or 6 years after this version of TPIR got canned, this think music which you are hearing would be used in the daytime version for this game.

The pink panther theme only aired in the CBS daytime version, not in the syndicated version. Some sort of licensing issue.

sorry guys. i didn't mean to say the pink panther theme sucked, i just thought the song was a little harder for me to associate with safe crackers than with the pink panther! no intention to step on toes.

They used to have the blue signs to name the company logos of the prizes, then they took them off after 1986 or 1987. Now they have the graphics on TV to display the company logos now.
