  • GIVE IT UP, KARMA IS JUST YOUR IMAGINATION!! WHY DON'T YOU FORGIVE YOURSELF!!

  • @judgefoallraces I do.

  • request and pray ---every human every soul either good or bad ,angle or evil ,sinner, demon , god or devil every creature ,every one want to live as a good humanbeing --please save

request----instead of killing ,spoiling lives, destroying ,sending under earth ,hells ,if some place is given far away from india .and some thing are done for better to improve the qualities of humans and souls .so that every one can live .

  • Question: If there is no self how does Karma operate?

  • @Hackney2000 The personality arises as a result of conditions. For example, when there are logs as a condition, fire can burn. By no-self, the Buddha is saying, the self does not exist independent of such conditions. That is to say, self is not permanent, eternal, or substantial, but changing and conditioned. Just like fire.

In fact, one of the conditions of the self is Karma. Karma is just conditioned effect as the result of actions.

  • @yadsik Thank you :)

  • @yadsik

if one is reborn a beetle, its isnt punishment, if I drive a porsche and crash due to my inability then I move to lesser car, if the sould cannot steer the human, try a bug, start again, maybe next time?

it is also true that some people are so lost, so missguided, that failure is almost guaranteed.

we cant blame or hate them, just recognise them, to help or defend from.

if one hasnt seen the devil, u cant know what to avoid so to speak if u were christian.

  • @tpvalley This is not the law of Karma.

  • @yadsik

not as it is written no, but the reality of what is written, obviously the devil has nothing to do with it, it is metaphor.

what I mean is bad karma is not punishment, it is to learn from, like evil.

  • Perhaps it's unevolved of me to ask, but do mean people ever get what's coming to them? Just curious.

  • @Marta7350 In the context of Karma, if one acts in a 'mean' way, then this is 'mean' action/karma. It really has to do with their intention. In Buddhism, it would be called 'karma that is dark with dark result.' Karma is a way of explaining the qualities of experience, once you cause the dark intention, and have done the dark action, the dark karma causes us to 'arise in a dark world' or 'mean' world etc.. this 'world' implies our experience. It means that if you act poorly, you will feel poorly

  • ... or rather, this 'world' implies the experience we have.

  • @yadsik, thank you so much for helping my understanding with this. It really does make perfect sense, and I appreciate your taking the time to make this thoughtful reply.
