Hi, how much does your system take? 1 litre??? Im about to assemble my first system using only a CPU block, 240 rad and dual bay res', i was wondering if 1 litre will be enough.
LOL - wish mine looked like that. I can see enough goo living inside my tubes that I reckon it's enough for a meal, can't imagine how much must be inside my block...
Could you make a video where you test if it is non-conductive still after 6 months? Because the test i find proves nothing. Battery-water is'nt conductive either. It gets conductive after flowing trough blocks and rads made of metal. I really want to know it this fluid really are conductive or not.
i used feser one back in 2007 and i watched this video to see if it did what it said on the tin. i'd rather watch this video than dismantle my water blocks. looks like i was right so i'll buy feser one again on my new loop!!!
@richsmif If you do decide to check it, please let me know the results, because on alot of forums people say bad things about this stuff, and others say it's excellent :S
Nice i was kind of confused on what coolant to use and i was planing on getting F1 coolant and you closed the deal, great video and that is with no other additives in there. is that a copper block or nickle? i did read before that if you ad other things in the coolant that it causes it to gunk up and build up in the block, you are right they are putting other stuff in the coolant. Thanks for the video.
@msibayan407 From most problems I have seen, it appears that people don't realize they need to FLUSH their loops before switching fluids. The waxes in other coolants don't suspend in Feser1, and thus become clots.
You can see this if you air-dry anti-freeze as well.
I'll be buying FeserOne soon as well, from SideWinderComputers ( good deal there on it right now ).
People talking crap about feser one?Maybe you will change your mind after a year or 2 of using it like i did.The stuff leaves its dye all over the tubes and water block. Also bacteria was growing in my water block fins.It looked like lint after 1 year.
And no, i did NOT put something else in it.
I since have only used distilled water and a biocide.I checked it after 1.5 years and it was as clean as the day i filled it.Cheaper too!
Great video man....I was very relieved to see your results....I have had my computer for a year + using feser one UV Blue. I have never flushed/drained it since I originally built it...LOL I am sure it needs it, however, I am in the process of building an EVGA SR-2 build, so I just need to hang on another month or 2. I have a clear plexi top on block, and from what i can tell it looks good! LOL I know i need to maintain it more often, I just didn't prepare for it in the build and would be a pain
Great! I'm pairing it with the new best block (Apogee XT)! :) :) Before, my budget only allowed the XSPC 360, but a store near me allowed me to get the i7 920 for 220$ instead of 290$, so I could upgrade watercooling components.
The knucles you have on the cpu block, do they just swivel freely or do you tighten them into a specific position?

@JooHaxDemoTaken Did you clean your loop before putting Feser one? Or did you put it in a new unused loop?
WhiteHawk137 9 months ago
@MaralizeLegawana When I was disconnecting my loop I got liquid over my video card. I just had to clean it up with alcohol and let it dry completely.

What about under the jet plate? I could have sworn I saw some dye stuck to the copper channels from certain angles between 3:03 and 3:08...
