  • It's only gonna get worse. FucK Harper.

  • Comparing the use of non-lethal rounds to the the Libyan gov't (who called in air strikes on civilians) is a fucking disgrace to the pain and hardship the people there went through. I'm fucking amazed you people can't see the difference. (Or refuse to).

  • @iSeeJayVee Although what happened in Toronto was disgraceful slap in the face of Canadian democracy, I have to agree, the two events are in no way comparable.

  • Harper is a cousin to a Kangaroo liberal appointed Judge Justice Karen Horner. Karen Horner is Doug Horner's cousin. I can verifiably say that Karen and Doug Horner are also extended family members of the Royal Family. Their lineages have been traced tracked all the way back to 1166 AD. They share illuminatti blood lineage and to Count Drakula too.

  • I am canadian, and stephen harper as an ASS...I never voted the prick into power !!!

  • Harper doesn't give a damn about a bunch of Brown People in a foreign country, he doesn't care about his own "heathen" non-Alliance Christian citizens...

  • Harper should really practice what he preaches ......... WE NEED OUR FREEDOM

  • those are non leather shots. THIS AND LIBYA is not even close to the same non-leather shoots- bullets...

  • fuckin harper!

  • If everyone in Canada was shown this video, the CONsevatives would have lost by a landslide..

    OPEN your eyes CANADA!!!!!!

  • u should have all fought back instead of filming it like a tamed little sissy girls

  • @HumanityWins That is probably what will happen if the Police continue to use excessive violence...

  • Drastic difference. Gadhafi hired FUCKING mercenaries to shoot and KILL civilians who were protesting. The G20 summit security did get WAY out of hand for Canada but so did many of the protests. In the end, the actions of the police and security contributed to a few minor injuries and a couple of serious injuries. How that is comparable to snipers shooting and killing dozens of Libyan civilians on the streets or Syrian soldiers slaughtering hundreds of protesters with automatic rifles?

  • lol that guy sitting on the road didn't feel so cool at 2:13 anymore

  • I have seen worse treatment of peaceful Canadians by Harper's thugs than Gaddafys treatment of the peoples of Libya. Don't vote Libertarian, vote for Socialism. The only liberty that so called "Libertarians" care about is the freedom of corporations to exploit the masses. Take a look at the "Bolivarian Revolution" in Latin America. Chavez, Morales and Correa. Watch "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" Here's to a better world..

  • I'm not a fan of cops, but I knew enough not to be a shit disturber when the leaders of the World's 20 most powerful countries were less than a mile away. Sometimes, you just have to not be a shit-distrurber, thus me not having any issues with the cops at the G20. Obviously they were waiting for a fight. You have to be a certain kind of person to be a cop, and they were showing their true colours for those few hours.

  • Wow... comparing the actions of those in Toronto to the people in Libya fighting for their actual lives... we think highly of ourselves, don't we?

  • Watch the CBC's Fifth Estate report on the police actions during the G-20!!! See who the police went after; not the hooded thugs on their destructive rampage but the protesters who were voicing their disapproval of the Harper government and it's foreign policies. And who in their right mind thinks a Harper majority will give anyone in this country the freedom to be a democracy??!!! A healthy economy is all that matters... are Canadians really that materialistic and shallow?!!

  • @cliflejeune well said. and thank you.

  • Anyone who thinks the G20 protest arrests were justified police action needs to attend the protest next time in civilian clothing and experience what a police crackdown on a peaceful protest looks like.

  • Those hippies were shot upon because we believed that we had none that idiocy in Canada. They are to blame for the billion dollars spent on G20. It was all used thanks to them. Way to make Harper look like a genius.

  • Ass!

  • Harper, you are a disgusting waste, you make me ashamed to be a Canadian!

  • I am so disgusted with my country since that G20 mess. Canada is turning into China. Those cops should all be fired and charged and jailed. We need to get rid of the conservatives this election.

    Also: GO CANUCKS!

  • Regardless of your intended comparison, the comparison absolutely is between the G20 and Libya. Remember that part where you draw a line between Tripoli and Toronto? Harper's condemnation only lacks credibility if his transgressions are similar to Ghadafi's... otherwise the comparison falls apart and the hypocrisy you are trying to point out doesn't exist. Using the tragedy unfolding in Libya as a way to criticize Harper is way out of line. Who needs fox news north when shit like this is around?

  • @robonionable shut your hole. It's an apt comparison given the nature of CANADA and the nature of Libya... the only difference is in the degree of disregard for the lives of the citizenry...

  • Where's the footage of the burning police cruisers and smashing of store-front windows? It's easier to demonize family, friends and neighbours (i.e. police officers) when you don't see what they have to respond to, isn't it?

  • LOL, so many tools whining about the G20, you know what, if you see 50 cops in riot gear, and you decide, "oh I'm cool, I'll go stand in front of them in a mocking and defying fashion" then frankly, your asking to get tazed/stomped/thumped/ hosed/ gassed, whatever. People in Libya were being systematically BOMBED by their own government, you think Canada has it bad? lol idiots.

  • This video is disgusting. You should be ashamed! I'm ashamed of you.

  • holy eff they got owned! at the end!

  • While I'm usually quite skeptical of the so-called "peaceful" protests that arise around these summits (or in Vancouver during the Olympics, for example), this is just unjustified police violence. The last ten seconds of this video are appalling.

  • @telemov I read in a Police Publication that they waited for the end of the anthem. They were proud of their constraint!

  • thats NON LETHAL !!! the libians are KILLING THERE PEOPLE .

  • @ArcticCatsRape i know eh this video is fucken stupid, during the g-20 in toronto their were some serious riots, the subways were closed, eation center was locked up with people inside for their safety from the rioters. police cars were burned, small business smashed, the police reacted to what was going on, and those officers who over reacted are now being tried them self's. These dumb fucken hippies are soo fucken mindless to make/think shit up like this, paranoid fucks.

  • @ArcticCatsRape they know nothing about real oppression.

  • @Baseshocks it seems you like them to find out though wouldn't you?

  • @bodhisattva99 i would not mind them finding out, those fuckers were burning cop cars, they were smashing small businesses, i live in Toronto, people here were outraged at the stupidity of the protests, all those people smashing things were here to cause shit, not to protest. they vandalized the city the first day, the cops let it happen, the people of Toronto and media were outraged the cops let it happen, so the 2nd day they started fighting back and making arrests.

  • @Baseshocks undercover police officers were causing the disturbances... so that it would look worse on the news, so that people would think and say what you're saying, than it actually was...

  • @bodhisattva99 i hope you really don't believe that, right after the protests the police started a manhunt of all the vandalism, the peaceful protesters, took pictures of the crimes and took pictures of them taking their masks off. If you truly believe that Toronto police started all this shit then i don't know what to say. I'm sure that's what the shit disturbers, people who make videos like these say. If ya can get a little more paranoid you could blame aliens.

  • @Baseshocks there is documented proof that they "law enforcement agents" have done exactly the same thing in Canada... so... yeah... ALIENS is a bit of a stretch...

  • @bodhisattva99 yes they have, im not saying all cops are saints, i know of a case when two undercover cops grabbed a teen and shot him in the chest for no reason, but these cops who abuse their powers or do stupid things get charged and do time. They are held at higher standards then citizens. What im bitching about is people trying to call the g20 protest oppression, the city was in caos, i know one case when cop beat a women down during the protest, he was charged with assault, is not the same

  • @Baseshocks there was more going on that meets the eye. Many who committed violations weren't held accountable for their actions or if they were it was a dog and pony show to satisfy the need for justice by providing an illusion of that. There's a video online where a police officer, a Canadian police officer, says that "THIS ISN'T CANADA RIGHT NOW" to a Canadian citizen who was exercising his right to demonstrate peaceably. What do you think that was supposed to mean?

  • @bodhisattva99 comparing the g20 riots to Libya is insane, the military in Libya gunned down civilians with bullets, they are shelling towns. Its just stupid to compare the two.

  • @Baseshocks when you're facing oppression... it isn't the degree of oppression that is of concern. Oppression is oppression. We, in Canada, don't live in a dictatorship. We have expectations of certain freedoms due to our constitution and the charter of rights and freedoms it contains. When those freedoms are DENIED then attention needs to be called to those violations. Yes, people are fighting for their lives in Libya, but, essentially, it's the same thing in Canada.

  • @Baseshocks the real question is if the G20 protesters had any chance of overthrowing their government would the cops have acted any different than they do in Libya? They would have opened fire with live rounds on the protesters if there was even the slightest chance of overthrowing the government.

  • @ElZeeboo overthrowing the government? we don't need to, the opposition government just did and called an election. the way the Canadian system is set up even if we had a majority government and people wanted an election, the governor can dissolve parliament and call one. on top of that, the police forces and military would never fire on civilians, they know the law and what would happen. The g20 protesters just wanted to cause shit, i bet none wrere educated just looking to cause shit.

  • @Baseshocks Well first of all I was one of those peaceful protesters and I have a double honors degree in poly sci and philosophy. Second of all I was arrested and threatened with being beaten and raped by Toronto's finest. My crime was seeing some cops beating a kid in handcuffs and having a lawyers phone number on me neither of which has ever been a crime in Canadian history. Police have opened fire on protesters before in Canada which is why they don't get machine guns anymore.

  • @ElZeeboo that is awful... and I'm sorry you had to experience ANY of that.

  • @Baseshocks you believe as I did before the G20 in the myth of Canadian exceptionalism that some how we are better than countries like Libya in terms of how we treat people. Don't get me wrong I'm sure we treat prisoners here better than in Libya. But we are not as 'strong and free' as we are lead to believe. Remember the Black Bloc did only 2.5 million in damages, hardly a comparable threat to an armed rebellion, and look at how all rights got tossed out the window.

  • @Baseshocks Basically all I am saying is that if our protest actually stood some chance of making a serious difference in Canadian policy, or represented some kind of threat, the police would have gone crazy and tossed all laws and rights out the window and put down the crowds with maximal force just as they are doing in Libya right now. Police's job is not to serve and protect but to maintain the status quo whatever that happens to be and to do so by any means available.

  • @ElZeeboo if people had guns yes they would be put down, if people were looting smashing everything in site then mass amounts of tear gas would be thrown in. In Egypt the military refused to fire on the people, the same would happen here with both military and police.

  • @ElZeeboo if you want to see mass looting riots check out the riots in toronto in the 90's.

  • @ElZeeboo accualy a lot of the protesters were peace full, the point was to send msgs to other governments visiting, all the msg's were lost cause of the shit disturbers.

  • @Baseshocks By shit disturbers you do mean the police, right?

  • @xeyex nope, the shit started with the people who wanted to smash store windows while covering their faces, attacking and threatening the media for filming them so they can take part in criminal acts. The peace-full protesters took pictures of these acts of crime and took pictures of them taking off their masks, after the dust settled they handed over the pictures to the police.

  • @Baseshocks So then why didn't the police respond to the masked disturbers? Why did they instead decide to push around little girls and round up journalists with credentials and people who just happened to live in the area who were doing absolutely nothing. It takes a special kind of stupid to watch the nonsensical actions of the police and still believe they are on your side. The police are just a bunch of trained monkeys who do what they are told, legal or not.

  • @Baseshocks If you pay attention to recent history, police have been caught as agents provocateur on more than one occasion. It is likely that the shit disturbers you speak of are police or working for the police. The police are supposed to maintain the peace. So why are they trying so hard to incite riots by surrounding and pushing people around and provoking the peaceful? Until the events of the g20, I was a strong supporter of the police. But I am not so stupid as to trust them after this.

  • @bodhisattva99 those officers who broke the law and went to far are now being investigated and charged, the majority of them did a great job. this video is a propaganda joke. Why don't these people try protesting in libya, they will have fucken bullets flying threw them, all that was fired in Toronto were tear gas canisters and rubber bullets. They were only fired at the violent protesters.

  • @Baseshocks dude watch the videos of the people they shot with rubber bullets... everyone was a nonviolent protester and most were shot in the back while running away. Why not watch some of the videos available here on youtube and figure this out for yourself before commenting. One officer has been charged and there are no other investigations open. All 400 OIPRD complaints have been dismissed or deemed minor complaints which means it is a mark on there record for 2 years then wiped clean.

  • @Baseshocks only at VIOLENT protesters? I don't recall any of those so-called black bloc dudes being shot. There is an interesting video of a girl being ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT because she blew bubbles onto a POLICE OFFICER. I'll admit there's an agenda and that it is in some way propagandist, but that's the way these things work. You sell the lies by interspersing them with the truth. IT ISN'T LIBYA. IT IS CANADA. And when was the last time RUBBER BULLETS have been fired at Canadians?

  • I think im still gonna vote for harper.

  • I highly recommend everyone who hasn't yet, go to mises(dot)org and start educating yourself about the state, what it really is. Free Domain Radio is excellent, and so is lewrockwell(dot)com.

If you're in high school, tell your teachers they suck and start your own independent studies, you will learn more in one year on your own then in 10 years of state education. They teach you to be ignorant state tit suckling drones, not independent thinkers. Reclaim your brains!

  • remember what happened to the native people when they asked nicely for some water and electricity? they went under the terrorist list.

  • i think there's a difference between firing real bullets and artillery at your people vs tear gas and rubber bullets...

  • @hof2x

Man... You don't shoot anything at protesters. Period.

  • look libya is having a civial war. we should not be evolved in this. it be like poor canadians riotsing because they can get a dime. should america come over and start killing ppl for the rich of the country cause the civial uprise is against those who have more money than god

  • @24lori24 We aren't involved. Nato is involved.

  • @guybification

    really !

so far looks like is over 30K dead in Libya. It is insulting to every dead person in the middle est. !!!!

Toronto, was picnic compeer to Libya !!!!

  • They should use the same tactics on The Bilderberg attendees.

Ask uncle Steve, uncle Michael & uncle Jack, about that.

  • Young people do get out to vote. Harper has to go. Not only this issue but NAU. He is sneaking behind our backs on this one!

  • how many people died in Toronto ?

it is insolting to bring Libya in to this discusion !!

  • @arka67 it's not just Lybia, it's the the treatment of citizens in Afghanistan by Canadian troop that goes unreported and trying to make native people disappear. It may not be the same exact thing, but people get hurt.

  • @Gallowghoul

there is Libya in title ... that is my point .

In Libya people get murdered.. not just hurt.

But violence is coming to North America thanks to Obama... economy is going to hell, people will go on the street then you will see people getting hurt soon !!

  • Harper is such a hypocrite. There has never been a prime minister I wanted thrown out until him.

  • stephen harper is the biggist fail

  • The connection this video is trying to make is so stupid I'm actually laughing

  • Democracy puts blame on the people for they will be held accountable for the governments actions.

  • Isn't it rather ironic that they put Ghadaffis picture on Obamas campaign ad and then call it a grass roots movement

  • Say no at the election polls to " Harper's G20 1 BILLION dollar CONsevative summit, CONvicts, CONflicts of Interest, CONtempt of Parliament, Harper's eCONomy, jail CONtracts, Fighter-jet CONtracts, say NO to the CONservative CONtrol freaks- VOTE ABC. Anything but CONservative

  • @TheSecretStore, The elections are rigged.

  • @TheSecretStore

How about not showing up to the election poll. Think of what would happen a small band of people who call themselves leaders hold a vote and the entire country pays no attention. (It'll never happen too many sheeple who need a shepherd), but just imagine, a band of people claiming they rule the whole nation when nobody bought into their wanking elections, nobody cared. Nobody wanted to be ruled. The headlines would say "Nobody took us seriously".

  • @TheSecretStore the one Billion was also part of the economic action plan, do you have any idea how many jobs the g20 created, and how many people were trained in security.

  • @TheSecretStore one biased view

  • A prime international marketing opportunity for Canada, or a $1 billion boondoggle?

Im sorry but these" terrorists" were singing in public , their national anthem. People showing pride and expressing themselves and their distaste for the "Elites".

Toronto police car burning Saturday night A staged event ? Looting Provocateurs another media event?

    Amazing

  • STEPHEN HARPER IS THE ANTI-CHRIST!!! HE fired on his own people with tear gas for no reason...

  • @RobbytheRaverPA I don't know, the people causing civil unrest and damaging private and public property kind of calls for police to use some drastic measures. I don't condone police brutalizing unarmed people but at the same time, some of these protesters are the same people who were wrecking cars and smashing store windows.

  • Even as a conservative I am outraged at what went on at the G20. My government is shitting all over its people so how can Harper say that Gadaffi's actions are unacceptable!? Clearly Harper has a bad memory when he turned Toronto into a war zone. Ontario looked like a military exercise!

Hes not the leader I voted for.

  • hahaha, comparing Gadaffi to Harper, thats beyond ignornat, desperate lefties will do anything for power

  • what a bunch of ignorant crap, comparing the G20 to Gadaffi, the leftist bigots of Canada must be getting desperate

  • Those idiots deserved to be beaten. There were maybe 100 true protesters at the G20 and the rest were there just to watch the idiots and trouble makers and take pictures. You sit down and sing the national anthem and the first sign of footsteps

they were running for their lives like they just stole a car.

  • I thnk people should be thankful we live in a civilized country that doesnt use real bullets to maintain order. This crap is nothing but sensationalized facts and video footage showing the harshest of attempts to maintain order. What are the police to do when massive mobs terrorize and vandalize private and puplic property that only further costs money to repair? They defeat their own purpose in most cases. Honestly, what is the alternative to controling huge mobs of swarming destructive people?

  • great vid....what is enough?? i need to know.

  • Yeah, that's right sir, i remeber the G20 in Toronto sir and i have long term memory as well, i won't vote for Ignatieff at the next election but i sure won't vote for any illuminati nor for any freemason either

  • Makes one wounder why they would put a statue of Vladimir Lenin and Mao in BC Canada for the Olympics.Or to show Canada is under a new rule of law the same one that killed millions.

  • @BoredomCorner Google Lenin statue in BC then Codex Alimentarius Food Control Scam Now Harpo has passed Bill C36 and the USA has Bill S510.

  • Damn good video! THIS prick may be the most hypocritical leader we've ever had! Many things that he throws at other leaders, both at home and abroad, also apply to him! It makes no difference to Harper; honesty doesn't mean anything to him. 1 billion dollars spent on security at the G20 and we're supposed to believe that a group of 'anarchists' in a circle, pulling on hoods, smashing windows and a police car for 2 HOURS couldn't be stopped? They had to turn on the protestors instead? Right.

  • They should have just had the G20 in Huntsville as well, would have avoided the massive cost and security issues of hosting it in one of Canadas most densely populated cities.

Protesters were burning police cars and destroying private property. Don't pass it off as it if was a big group hug

  • Totally excellent. BRAVO!

  • Shun the minions.

  • Excellent. Canadians need to wake up to what's going on in our country before it's too late.

  • fuck the empire, fuck the nwo

  • Read the video description before you comment:

"The intended comparison in this video is NOT between Canada and Libya or Harper and Gaddafi but between Harper's rhetoric (standing up for democracy and human rights) and his record (mass detention, police brutality). The intent was to show how his condemnation lacks credibility because of his record on protecting civil rights."

  • @TheSecretStore yea, its a very good video too.

Thanks for posting it, that G20 stuff made me sick to watch it on the news as it happened.

  • @MrMooseheadbeer If G20 made you sick to watch on TV, you'd puke if you saw it live! I witnessed it all, as a by-stander, riding my bike around town non-stop, going home (also downtown) to only freshen up and check CP24 to see where it's next. My feeling of safety in Canada and my trust in the police has been forever tarnished--the "police" did NOT behave as public servants, but as thugs, and slaves of the elites AGAINST US, THE PEOPLE, TAXPAYERS, WHO PAY FOR THEIR SERVICES!

  • @TheSecretStore How disingenuous! LMAO

  • @TheSecretStore PRETTY SURE, Police Brutality isn't linked to a Federal Politician. But please, continue to use scare tactics. You are all so spoiled, it sickens me.

  • @thisiswilson2 yes... like that's NEVER been true in history before... so it can't POSSIBLY be the case here...

  • @thisiswilson2 When that politician afterwards refuses to hold an inquiry into it, it becomes an issue with his leadership. The police didn't just decide to go and arrest 1100 people of which only about 90 were charged the orders always come from the top down and if you refuse an inquiry you are supporting the actions of the officers and their superiors to make the largest mass arrest in Canadian history.
