  • Did he dry his tears with his hand at 4.18 ?

  • @lamusik63 yes! If you watch the video for next song Steve did that night with Mario Frangoulis (Dedication) you can see that he definitely has been crying.

  • @newshoesbigblister I knew why i love his performances, he not only sing the songs he is in this songs, he shows his emotions.

  • @lamusik63 Yes! Was there in front row! He was extremely emotional singing this. So were the rest of us. Very emotional experience. Always is. Seen him perform this many times and he is always emotionally drained after. You can see from his next song with Mario Frangoulis, mentioned below. Mario had to give him time to recover! He is absolutely awesome!

  • @1Youngcat yes you are right!!!but I've been at the same concert here in Athens....that 's why I was confused!!!

  • @benetia2004 That's OK... easily mistaken. Both were fantastic anyway. I was at this one. It made me cry!!!!!!!!

  • still loving this :)

  • I was at this concert.

  • Steve's voice pretty much heads up my list of top 5 fav singers of all time...and that's a LOT of time considering my age. He just opens his mouth and the beauty pours out.

  • Beautiful it is!!

    juju-who are your other 4?

  • 1. Steve Perry - Journey

    2. Steve Balsamo

    3. David Cook

    4. Daryl Hall

    5. Jimmi Jamison (from Survivor)

    In that order.

  • I love watching Steve perform this song. What a voice!

  • Fantastic! Thanks for letting us know that Steve will be singing this Sunday on Songs of Praise, shall look forward to that!

  • i think he is the best musical singer ever !!

    This is absolutely AMAZING

serious this is live !! omg

    respect.

  • ive met steve,a great bloke and the best singer in the world!!!!

  • I totally agree!

  • I like how he can sing different arrangements. This worked really well as a concert version whereas at the Ahoy it is a theatrical version. The feeling he puts into all of his songs is amazing.

  • dang steve...This cat can sing, but this performance doesnt touch the arrangement at Ahoy.

  • Weird, he pulls off a Ted Neeley/Gillian "Alright" instead of the usual soft one. It doesn't seem to fit. Good, though!

  • Steve is awesome. His rendition of Gethsemane never fails to move me.He is simply THE BEST.

  • What a stunning performance - so much energy and emotion. I hope I get to see Steve sing live sometime. He really has got a wonderful voice.

  • I was priviledged to see Steve Balsamo at Andrew Lloyd Webbers birthday concert in Hyde Park in September....I was moved by his outstanding performance. What great talent!!! I hope you get the chance to see him soon as you will not be disappointed.

  • Fantastic!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Steve is brilliant - what a voice!

  • Absolutely amazing.
