so do you. is called geting up at 4/5 in the morning on every weekend for 18 years and getting to know every part component on a loco doing your daily checks making sure thats theres enough water in the boiler and having to light the fire clean the foot plate etc... by the way steam is one component of many
so learing about steam is the easy part keeping steam is the hard part
no you can kiss my fat sweaty sweet lovely arse because not only do i clean out full size smoke boxes i also spend a fair amount of time cleaning and replacing
parts/tubes etc... for full size and miniature [by the way coal dosent block tubes smoke and ash does expecily around the superheater tubes and tubes you can't get at unless you have a spicial device like a self cleaning smoke and tube box like on the guke of glouster].
i work on full size ones so beat that i also have 3 5 inch scale steam locos that ive got under my belt, 2 foden steam wagons and a nice black 5 which i part own
no your the douche! looks like someone don't know anything about steam locos. coal can do 2 things it can ether kill the fire or make the fire adding coal diverts heat just remember coal is a rock not a burning ball of fire!!! so it's got to heat up the coal to burning point then it prouduces heat untill then you got no heat .if theres not enough air it dosent burn it just sits there smoking turning into clinker i should know i work on them
What a great little engine. Im glad to see someone running live steam at a scale speed! Looks and sounds great. Wish someone made more WM in 1" live steam. Id just about kill for a 1" live steam 202!
An ACC Loco that can go slow : That´s a rare sight! Mine are somehow a bit tempramental ! But I like them fast or slow ! Nice locos they are.

Wow that is the worst grammer I have ever seen, and 21ST not 2001 that would be the year 200100 or 198,091 years into the future.
