i went to school with a girl who had this condition. she loved showing her webbed toes off to people and one of her friends made her a special pair of toesocks :) i have also seen this happen with newborn kittens, sometimes only the two center toes were webbed but on rare occasions all 4 toes were webbed together. i do not know how this would have effected the cats movement, as none of them lived into adulthood :(

My toes look exactly the same (although my feet are a lot bigger and flatter) as shown on the video. In my case, though, the toes have curved quite a bit towards the outer edges of my feet. When I was born, in 1976, the doctor was having hard time telling about my mutations to my mother, who actually guessed what had happened. Both of my great grandpas had had the same mutation in one of their feet and as a result of two gene pools merging with each other, I got both of the mutations on my feet.

I had webbed feet very recently. actually just yesterday. I got surgery to split them apart because they were annoying me and I was pretty self conscience about them. When I was a kid I never really took my socks off and when I had to I dreaded it. It's hard to notice but I noticed it. Surgery was intense though. Just local anesthetic so I got to watch the whole thing. Didnt hurt one bit, except for the freezing which was a bitch. And at the moment right now they hurt, but the tylenol 3 helps.

I have webbed toes! I'm 21, and never even considered there might be the possibility to have the separated! I wouldn't want weird monkey feet anyway :-D I find people don't notice when I wear flip-flops or sandals, only if I take off my shoes and rub my foot and they're close enough do they realise.
