There's more to Christmas than just having a tree... though it is nice. Besides, the money I could have used to buy a tree... I can now give to someone in need. That's part of what Christmas is all about.... giving versus only looking out for yourself. Of course the main part of what Christmas is all about is it is Christ's Birthday.

Hey... at least they have a tree, right? Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, especially when on a budget. : ) Heck, I didn't even buy a tree this year.... not because I didn't want one... but because of lack of funds. So.... I decided to take my lights from last year and hang them on the wall right below the ceiling, strung along the whole perimeter of my living room. And you know what... it looks pretty cool!!
