Maximus was the only reissue that I knew of. Probably because they werent considered as desireable as the original 84/85 characters.

OH, No, man your right on. I think its the the desire of many fans 2 have a transformer city that stands like, just below eye level as a robot. For now i just dream of having (what is in my mind) complete bases. Autobots: Fort. Max, Metroplex, and Omega Supreme. Decepticons: Trypticon, Scorpionok, and Overlord

In the first American series, no they did not, they were simply Transformers with a robot mode and a vehicle mode. There was an animated movie that was made in 1986 it has recently been re released on DVD it is called Transformers: The Movie you could try to find some of the show on DVD too but I would wait until Sony/BMG puts it out since the Rhino Video stock is out of print and expensive.

Had the original Transformers series continued in the US, Optimus Prime would have become a Powermaster and

Double Dealer would be the Decepticons' counter against Punch/ Counterpunch.
