I live in this neighbourhood and 99% of the comments you say about it are false and mostly very insulting, so please, before posting or giving this rough oppinions inform yourself better cause it's pretty upsetting for us who live here. Thanks and I hope you enjoyed your time around Barcelona.

I know Spain pretty well and have traveled around extensively and I stand by what I said.  The commentary was on the neighborhood and the structures and yes, it was very rundown and uncatered to. It was obvioud we were out of the heart of Barcelona so if you ask me, the city needs to cater to you guys more. If you feel insulted, you should direct your anger towards the local government for not catering to its community properly. As for Barcelona, is is breathtaking, beautiful, magico...

This is not a comment made out of anger,just giving real information about the place since I live there.I'm sure you'd feel upset aswell if I went if front of your door to record a video calling it slum and hang it in youtube just because I passed in front of it one day you'd feel upset too.For your info,the place you call "not so much of a good area+ran down+dirty" is one of the most expensive parts of BCN to live in and most peaceful since it's where the old town was.

If you go around the ''not so good streets'' you'll find loads of old mansions and really beautiful places.For your info, it's being extensely reformed for years, an example is the building you show at the beginning,a big new building being built. Take it as you want, I'm just giving proper information about the place since this is my city and I've lived where you filmed my whole life.

Well, you seem to be in agreement. My comments were in reference to the places being filmed and shown, and where we were was rundown. If the township is indeed catering to the community, then all the better for many of those rundown buildings were true gems in the rough, in need of much restoration in order for them to be brought back into their original state of glory. Not all criticism comes from a places of contempt. Barcelona being so beautiful, all its corners deserve the proper care.

Barcelona is in regenaration just like London the only diferance is that Barcelona is a better place to go.

Come and see the sad side of london, Barcelona is beautiful compared to alot of the poverty stricken areas in London, i.e Brixton. But Barcelona is generally thriving :)

I have had the good fortune to explore many sides of London but it was, alas, 13 years ago and I would love to see it all with my own, me-of-the-now eyes, and yes, the poverty stricken areas too for those I never saw. Though do not be fooled... we have a large population of people in Spain, mainly gyspies, that live in slums and makeshift homes and it ain't a pretty sight! Glad you liked my video...

Well, it is still tourist season in Spain right now and we went before tourist season fully kicked in and it was later on in the day anyway when we got there. I am sure it would have been busier had we been there earlier. Hope you enjoyed it!

Okay mija! I came to pay your other clip some love. Let me know when your going to La Alhambra. I went to Granada one day... quick and dirty. I was showing a visiter around. We were short on time and I really regret it. We ate at a little Chinese Restaurant while we were there. We crossed some town called Los Angeles and I took a picture near a wall with a picture of a Cow out of Mosaic.
