i'm proud to comefrom the Igbo race, anytime anywhere. ithe last time i watched this was 16 years agon on NTA - NIGERIAN TELEVISION AUTHORITY. A TELEVISION CHANNEL IN NIGERIA. I LOVE IT!
Does it get to the part where he killed Ikemefunam (I think that was the name of the boy Okonkwo killed). I distinctly remember that episode where he killed him. I remember the boys mother or Okonkwo's wife singing and I remember Okonkwo being tormented. If you know what scene it is let me know. Thanks
I have watched and read dis epic b4 but now am flicking tru but its so sad i cant remember wat d story is abt and diaint helping cos i dont understand their english, d diction sounds funny.
They actually did a good job considering the resources and time spent on producing this movie at such a time when the movie industry was not even in any noticable stage in terms of development.
@florime24 ehh..shut the fuk up nigga. Am proud to be igbo as well, aint no one trying to be tribalist, we just proud of our distinct culture. This aint wasobia byatch!!
This is really good. I watched this way back in Nigeria when I was a bit younger on NTA or so...nice work. Thanks for taking me home again. You have no idea what this means to people like me
In Igbo land several decades and centuries ago, the chant "onye akpala nwa agu aka n'odu" reflects readiness of a community to engage in a war they have been provoked into.
Pete Edochie is the ultimate :) NTA at its best what ever happened?

As for the movie, IT IS 100% LAME! I didn't even watch barely 30 seconds of the frist scene before realizing that!
