even though I dont' think you deserve an answer here you go. It's boring to you because you're not playing it as an interactive story with a person you devise as the main character. And it reminds you of bioshock because they both use 1950's theories about the future for atmosphere, which bioshock didn't do first so if anything bioshock is a fucked up version of fallout 1 (not true I Love bioshock :P)

dude this game is epic I'm probably about half way through it and wow it's huge. The best place to go would be where the mutants are they mainly carry the hunting rifle which if kept repaired is usually a good weapon.

the radroaches you kill can also be searched for items, mainly their meat. it's actually pretty a good health pack. always check for anything u think is sellable. like books or clothes or weapons. even teh 1st aid kits on teh walls are good. sell what u can when u get out. and make sure u have the besta rmor in ur inventory on
