I use a really great mpg encoder called TMPGEnc. It's about $30 I think, but is generally considered as the best one out there. I've tried several others, but this one looks indistinguishable from the original DV video. Also, I've tried shooting things in widescreen and uploading them, but YouTube seems to make those look kind of blocky, so a regular 3X4 screen size seems to work best. I have a really good camcorder too although it's not high-def.

It was a Yairi DY-71. It sounded a lot better live in the room. It never did record very well though. I sold it last year when I got the Taylor.
