I acyualy like this, well most of it, i mean some efffetc look quite nice while others are not so attractive. If you realsie thatthe nexus one has no lag to its effects while some others do, i think this i due to the nexux one having the 1GHz snapdragon processor which increSAes the speed of all the phones functions, incuding the panningacross between the screens.

@kevinmichaeltinney Ever heard of Linux on a phone or Symbian? With my S60 phone I could do whatever it was technically capable of and what I wanted in 2003. Google did nothing new. And to all those, who believe Apple is the only one who makes mistakes: Try multitouch on your HTC Dream oder HTC Magic, without hacking. Well, at least the last can do this now, almost 2 years after it was introduced. Support is an issue that Apple costumers can´t complain about.

In fact, I am typing this message on a MAC machine, so I am not a "hater" or a "fanboy", just someone that wants something that works and in open to many types of hardware. Apple does have awesome customer support, no doubt. I have been using apple machines ever since they had DOS on them... :)

This home is running great on my nexus, but i would like an app tray present, and the screens not cluttered with app icons like the iphone. Android screens are for widgets and app shortcuts for the easy to reach apps. Also live wallpaper support would be a bonus and screens looping with screens preview too.

I know, that you made this video to show us, the same I made a 'top iPhone videos' to show YouTubers my favorites theme whether it's useful or not. IMO the only useful eyecandy is Compiz for Linux (on computers, not mobiles). It provides some nice 3D effects, but it improves usability sooo much (for eg, window grouping - it's unbelievable!!) Another example may be a Bump Top for Mac/Windows - also cool stuff with nice useful abilities :)

@hanxopx They're the first handheld apps of their type--how can the possibly be unoriginal? I broke (and fixed) the mix in every palm treo I had since the 270.. I'm also a phone tech-- leading cause of broken mics=droppage, second, baby spit, third, sweaty faces. VERY easy fix in the iphone though. You'll find that a lot of the iphones overseas are third party (chinese) refurbs--even if they are sold new. The apps--really though if you deny they are superior devs won't come forwards for android.
@hanxopx Price is an extremely valid factor--I wouldn't pay $1000 for ANY handheld device. Apple iphone is as wide open as you want it to be. It's easier to buy a jailbreak program from the cydia store than it is to buy an app out of the mainstream android store.. I don't like being forced into having a gmail account especially since they change their privacy policy OFTEN and NEVER for the better. GOOGLE is the REAL monolyth of future evil--just step back see.
There are many wonderful apps but they're not verified by apple sure there are still other original apps on the app store but there is also other widely spread cheap apps although this is a common thing that comes to anything that goes to the top the point is that they are irrelevant when we compare the OS markets. And I don't like the idea of getting everything indirectly by jailbreaking nor I like idea of having the iTunes.
and yes Google could be evil like any other company but I prefer a company that makes open platform, supports and donates anything that's open source such as 3D Blender and Wikipedia and more importantly how there products work for the international end users.

@kevinmichaeltinney Ever heard of Linux on a phone or Symbian? With my S60 phone I could do whatever it was technically capable of and what I wanted in 2003. Google did nothing new. And to all those, who believe Apple is the only one who makes mistakes: Try multitouch on your HTC Dream oder HTC Magic, without hacking. Well, at least the last can do this now, almost 2 years after it was introduced. Support is an issue that Apple costumers can´t complain about.

In fact, I am typing this message on a MAC machine, so I am not a "hater" or a "fanboy", just someone that wants something that works and in open to many types of hardware. Apple does have awesome customer support, no doubt. I have been using apple machines ever since they had DOS on them... :)

This home is running great on my nexus, but i would like an app tray present, and the screens not cluttered with app icons like the iphone. Android screens are for widgets and app shortcuts for the easy to reach apps. Also live wallpaper support would be a bonus and screens looping with screens preview too.

I don't think it's so much good and evil as it is two companies competing for the top spot in the smartphone industry. Both have made unbelievable devices. I have a myTouch 3g and I love it, but I also want to get an unlocked iphone beacuse I think it would make one hell of an iPod / backup phone!

I know, that you made this video to show us, the same I made a 'top iPhone videos' to show YouTubers my favorites theme whether it's useful or not. IMO the only useful eyecandy is Compiz for Linux (on computers, not mobiles). It provides some nice 3D effects, but it improves usability sooo much (for eg, window grouping - it's unbelievable!!) Another example may be a Bump Top for Mac/Windows - also cool stuff with nice useful abilities :)

I don't use backgrounder or catagories.. but I use the HELL out of ifile(best mobile filesystem manager PERIOD) The N1.. looks good, but $600 for a PHONE! (sorry, old recycled iphone critique LOL) I'm up for an app-to-app phone-to-phone challenge if anyone else is. Search vdrumpro999 to read the 300 or so reviews I've put in for the over 1200 apps I have.. Patents.. wow u got pinch zoom ha ha ha..

speaking of prices the unlocked iPhone price in countries outside the US is much higher than any HTC or any other brand, in my place iPhone costs 1000$

@hanxopx They're the first handheld apps of their type--how can the possibly be unoriginal? I broke (and fixed) the mix in every palm treo I had since the 270.. I'm also a phone tech-- leading cause of broken mics=droppage, second, baby spit, third, sweaty faces. VERY easy fix in the iphone though. You'll find that a lot of the iphones overseas are third party (chinese) refurbs--even if they are sold new. The apps--really though if you deny they are superior devs won't come forwards for android.

@hanxopx Price is an extremely valid factor--I wouldn't pay $1000 for ANY handheld device. Apple iphone is as wide open as you want it to be. It's easier to buy a jailbreak program from the cydia store than it is to buy an app out of the mainstream android store.. I don't like being forced into having a gmail account especially since they change their privacy policy OFTEN and NEVER for the better. GOOGLE is the REAL monolyth of future evil--just step back see.

There are many wonderful apps but they're not verified by apple sure there are still other original apps on the app store but there is also other widely spread cheap apps although this is a common thing that comes to anything that goes to the top the point is that they are irrelevant when we compare the OS markets. And I don't like the idea of getting everything indirectly by jailbreaking nor I like idea of having the iTunes.
