  • duncans playing always sounds a bit on the constipated side these days -- i wonder if he really wants to play sometimes.....regardless, i think they're better off sticking to duncans new originals so u aren't compelled to compare it to the anything else -- it's more consistent with the quicksilver spirit, which i view as having a certain transiense, and, boy, i wish frieberg would play bass again because he wasn't half bad.....[this] dude has a rather thin tone, but he's ok.

  • @posthumanhero yeah, disappointed to see him playing a fender. loved that gibson!! but still the "newer" material is really strong. Steve Mcqueen!!!

  • Thanx for posting !

  • Saw Duncan's solo (Quicksilver) band a few years ago and this QMS in '07. The solo band was a good tight blues/jazz/rock gig, but adding Freiberg with his old QMS songs and despite the massive Valenti vocal void on Fresh Air and What About Me, they added some nice variety and singalong fun. Could have done wthout Linda Imperial's song.

Yeah, with Freiberg on bass you could do without the 2nd guitar, but I suppose he's more comfortable singing with a six string.
