I saw Mayhem last summer. Jørn (Necrobutcher) really is the most charismatic person I've seen on stage. Great stage presence and great contact with the audience. He was looking out at the audience all the time and one could tell that he loved to be up there and play their songs, even the old ones.
@biffen89 Jorn is probably glad that he's still doing it, despite all the tragedies that affected Mayhem. Necrobutcher and Hellhammer are the only two from the original line-up left, unless you consider Attila who was their longest-lasting vocalist.

But in the past Euronymus made most of the music, and lately Blasphemer did it. Necrobutcher is the bass player, and he also took care of other things in the band, like taking care of Dead/Pelle when he was at his worst and had no other places to go. He the only remaining member in the band who was there when it all started, when the whole BM scene started.
