I love all of your videos! I've learned SO much from you that I've actually started a donation program for the things I've made. I've raised over $300 for a local girl who needed a liver transplant. She is finally home with her family and doing very well. The hardest part is finding someone new to donate to. THANK YOU very much for all that you've taught me! :)
Thank you so much for all your great tutorials. They're easy to follow, even for me, a beginner. I also made your 'cheerful flowers', that are hanging in front of a drainpipe on my balcony. :)
Hi! I was just wondering, for this particular design, to make a bigger piece, like a blanket, do you have any suggestions? I tried to keep going by myself but my blanket is becoming uneven on one side, I'm not sure what to do!
I love your videos, your blogs, your everything. U are the one who helped me to get over my depression after I fell ill and needed a back surgery. You got me over my hopelessness. Many thanks.
Just a side note for anyone interested regarding tails:
I start a round by circling the first tail around the circle clockwise & then working the dcs around that. It seems to seal it in quite nicely.
Also, I work all of my tails into the stitches by folding them over & back again into the initial stage of a dc when I get to a tail in my round. I do it in 2 dcs, then I lay them flat against the back side of the chain I am working into.
Works like a charm & only the last tail needs sewing. :o)
I really love the second variation in this vid!!! Thank you so much for making these vids I can never figure out the written instructions, but with a video I can apply them immediately. I just recently got back into crocheting again. How long have you been crocheting?
@tjw1963 Wow well you can definitely tell you have been crocheting for quite a long time. I have learned some new things that I didn't know how to do so I really appreciate all the videos you have put up that is only way I can learn anything like this lol. I have been doing it on and off for about 15 years but there is always something new to learn or try with it.
I started crocheting as therapy when I got sick a couple of years back. Once I got bored with just plain granny squares (My nan only taught me how to DC... it got boring in about 3 weeks) I scoured the internet looking for some way to learn how to do something more creative. I found your videos and fell in love. I am still crocheting, even making some of my own patterns! Today, I am proud to say I was able to keep up with you in the clip as I crocheted this piece. Ever so proud! Serene
I love how instructions to one peice are all put into ONE video. It gets on my nerves when other crochet instructors on here post a video for eachround or row on their square. It's so difficult finding them all in order! Thanks for being SO helpful:)
Great work as usual masha`Allah. Thank you for sharing.. i'm always having yarn and hooks while watching ur videos so i follow ur steps to do it correctly. and surely i'm learning a lot from you.
The first one was nice to do, but the alternative round 05 was not very simple.. i couldn't do it from the first time.. i had to repeat it again & again..lol
Thank you very much. Alternative round 5 is a complex maneuver with all the loops on the hook. I wanted to include it somehow because it is so unique looking
When you wash the afghan, the shaping will be removed each time you wash it. Years ago I made a sweater and blocked it. That was the last time I ever blocked yarn. I have ironed yarn although the labels say no ironing. I will use a cool iron and a pressing cloth. The yarn can melt if the iron is to hot.
If it is an afghan that you are looking at and not using, then you may want to starch it. You can experiment and see what you like. You may like a blocked afghan.
I recommend your videos all the time to my friends. You are always very thorough, and the instructions as so simple to follow... literally ANYONE can crochet if using your videos. Thanks.
I'm loving the color combo, Can you tell me what they are? I also agree with mrdixon420 and Nemesis2535 that it would be great to see you do a poncho and a shawl. I hope that you take the suggestions into consideration.I'm so excited with anticipation.
Hi Teresa, thnx 4 sharing your work. I have learned alot, & I always look forward to your next video. Would luv to see u do a shawl, or poncho. U r very gifted, & hope someone is paying u 4 your video's. Thanks again ! Jackie in Va
i know mrdixon420 I would love to see her do a shawl also, my aunt showed me the basics of crocheting but i have learned everything else from watching Teresa's video. I have made 3 shawls, 2 using her shell patterns i will try to get pictures of them up soon. I am just starting to try to learn to read patterns..lol

Do you have any video's showing how to join granny squares? Like.. Joining one to another?
And I was also wondering about blocking, do you reccommend this with all grannies?
bonnn78 2 years ago
I have a couple video's showing various ways to join. I do not recommend blocking an afghan that you plan on using.
tjw1963 2 years ago
Is that because once you wash it, then it loses it's shape again? I can't seem to find the right video.
Thanks
