  • 40 years later and still not for sale in stores??? WTF

  • Listen. Diagonaluk said this film was made in the 60s. HOW IS THERE A COLORED AND CLEAR VIDEO AT THE 60s?!??!

  • i want to see a further

  • U Cant Be Serious !!

  • Also the MMA(Manned Maneuvering Unit) which astronauts use in their journey in space is a form of jetpack.

  • Dan Schlund used it 40 years later in 2005 and then it was popularised as something "new".

  • You guys with this 'fake' are so dumb. Jet packs exists long before you were born and were quite commonly seen in 60s and 70s.

  • jetpacks still exist, but they can't fly longer than 40 seconds. ;)

  • lol so fake

  • @Tavio006 They were even used during one of Wolrd Olympics Opening , this is not fake , do some research before U call something fake u retard :D

  • fake.

  • mitch can go suck a big fat cock

this is fake, absalute penguin shit. i hope you get raped in all holes and fart cum

  • @XXSycoticDboyXX crikey! :O

  • @XXSycoticDboyXX Well that, that was just distasteful!

  • @andy555andy your rite, i still however stand by my previous comment of being a Fake video!

  • daniels gay

  • that dude has awesome hair

  • I wish I could try one of these. I wonder how much would it cost...

  • Comment removed

  • The Jet Pack Pilot is a cool cookie and proud of his equally cool toy.

Frank Whittle invented the jet engine developed further by the Nazis.

Where can I buy the music soundtrack?

  • Oh. My. God.

  • So all the pack can do is small dust cloud, and strings actually pull the man in the air?

  • lol fake using strings

  • Fake!;)

  • uh, i was promised a jetpack in 2000. its been 11 years. WTF!!!

  • Dear santa..

  • I want one! O_o

  • cool!

  • HAXXXXXXXXXXXXX! *chucks a computer at him*

  • me's want 1 dat look fun

  • This guy is so badass, it takes 2 people to tap his arms to wake him up.

  • Who won? The car or the jetpack??:O

  • @MJFanCrazy i gues the car xDDD

  • Wtf Disneyland damn

  • Who won? Bet the car smoked it so they didnt show the rest ha lol

  • lol u steal this in GTA san andreas

  • @doodlydot9 your dumb

  • this was on mythbusters. fake as hell

  • @ronaldronald no it works, but it doesn't fly more than 40 sec.

  • dear santa...

  • are you kiddin'me? is that real?

  • cara surpreendente muito showww

  • people look weird in jetpacks

  • hmmm strange.. if it's 1960 - the video quality is amazingly nice.. smth strange?

  • who won!?

  • Jet-pack uses, fly!~

    CAR!

    flee

  • WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • those jet packs were invented in the WW2, the Americans were trying so hard to come up with new weapons to fight the Germans :)

of course they abandoned the idea after proving it's no good at all

  • looks like the jetpacks from san andreas

  • Only a few hundred gallons. Wait a second....

  • This guy should be wearing a solid gold codpiece!

  • Let me get this straight- All I need is a few hundred gallons of liquid nitrogen?

  • @carabiner

Yeah that's not right, they run on Hydrogen peroxide..............

  • @737tech Yeah, I'm looking for the unit that runs on Jet-A fuel. The one available to the public that has meaningful flight time capabilities.

  • Dear Santa ...

  • * шь

     erau

  • its because its fake guys. the uk has made a jet pack it can only fly for about 20 seconds before it needs its tanks changed and it cant be flown over like 10 feet because of safety reasons

  • he flies it like a pro.. and that is in the freaking 60's... why dont the world get told about new technologies and interesting gagets.. because by the time we find out its already 20 years old..

  • такой пиздешь

  • lol

  • I Believe I Can Fly, Woot, I Believe I can touch The Sky, I Think about it every night and day, I Spread my...... uhh.....Nitron Wings???

  • coooooool

  • and the man land on the car

  • omg. it looks so weird seeing a flying man in the sky

  • so... who win??

  • Dear Santa.....

  • what happens when the jets fail? pancake?

  • weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Space flight? Don't it need much less energy to give a proper push?

  • Looks so fun lol...

  • caraliu nimguem fala brazileiro

  • we need to bring nuclear power to this....you could fly for ever

  • I would kill myself with one!!! lol

  • "All you need is a few hundred gallons of liquid nitrogen" BAHAHAH

  • @chvick

    its Hydrogen :-)

  • the fuck?

  • Fake and gay fake and gay fake and gay

  • People think that it was impossible to fly to the moon in 60's when people aren't doing that in the 2010's ..well everybody became hippies after the 70's so that's why people don't do stuff like that anymore. :/

  • Cool

  • does any one know the flight time ?ie how long he can stay in the air?

  • @patcts7

    15 Minutes MAXIMUM.

Now the founders are working on extending the duration of time

  • no way!!! He looks like Alien !!!!

  • haha gta sa

  • Why does that guy have cameltoe...?

  • fake

    it would show thrust

    not invisible thrust DUR!

  • @DualDeathShock

Its exhaust is pure water. It is exhausted in the form of water vapor and water vapor is invisible.

On humid days or very cold days you see sometimes see condensation around the exhaust

  • @Grommo No, it is not water vapor. They literally said that the fuel is liquid nitrogen. Nitrogen is clear. And I'm quite sure, they're using the pressurized nitrogen to create the thrust, not a form of combustion. And in order for them to make water vapor, they'd either have to be using pressurized water, or combusting hydrogen. If they ARE combusting nitrogen (which I'm sure they aren't) it'd be putting out a nitrogen oxide, which may be in the form of laughing gas or poisonous nitrous dioxide

  • @burninmunkeys

    NO.

The Bell rocket belts use Hydrogenperoxide which decomposes when passed over a silver mesh coated with samarium nitrate metal catalyst. The hydrogen peroxide breaks down into pure water. That is the source of the thrust.

The nitrogen in a separate bottle merely takes the place of a fuel pump, by pushing the hydrogen peroxide into the reaction chamber. Nitrogen gas is not a fuel and does not produce any thrust in the rocket belt.

  • @DualDeathShock Nitrogen is colorless, odorless, and tasteless... So you just proved your idiocy. Go back to school please.

  • LOVE the hair on the guy on the right at 0:05.

  • I smell a Jango Fett in the air.

  • who won?

  • Comment removed

  • dear santa...

  • Love how ppl are saying "why have we not invented one that is cheap, fast and safe?!?11" Well you just go ahead and do that ;)

  • I never thought jet packs were real but apparently they're used in the secret service and stuff now? anyone know?

  • @diagonaluk

Back in the 1960s they had a guy that would fly one at Disneyland in tomorrow land

  • @thatbritts oh wow thanks! I'll have to look that up.

  • @diagonaluk it would be pretty obvious if you carried around a couple of gas tanks in your coat though :D

  • @thatbritts I bet he got so much pussy.

  • @jimmyassclown69 I suppose that would be a great pickup line, " Im a rocket man"

  • @thatbritts thats pretty much like the secret service :)

  • @thatbritts Yeah I saw that! It's cool

  • @diagonaluk

Yeah, there are a number of classified versions in Afganistan. But not attached to your back. The Williams X-jet stand on kind. You can see one in my video response that has desert camo scheme for you know where.

For night missions the things may be noisy but they are impossible to spot at any decent distance and a sniper or spotter can zoom into inaccessible locations where a chopper would be too big and noisy a target.

One man can do about 60mph so 30mile round trip is possible

  • @diagonaluk

well they do but they only fly for about 30 seconds or less...so they pretty much useless...dmn it

  • @lukthere2

The turbine version was developed that could fly for almost 20 mins to half an hour

  • @diagonaluk

They do last under 20 seconds though. minimal to no practical use.

  • @diagonaluk yea, and its already been perfected. not iron man good but they're still good. its used by the military and is very secretive about it.

  • @nepalihercules No, sadly it has not been perfected. the longest flight i've heard of by a jet pack has been just under one minute, The fuel to weight ratio on these things are not very good.

  • 100% fake-.-

  • is that really ???

  • My brain says "Fake" but my eyes say "Ooooh"

  • Cool :D

  • I think i saw that jetpack in knight rider.....

  • Cheap talk. Are you young? YOU could win the Darwin Prize

  • look up the martin jetpack

  • all you need is a few 100 gallons of liquid nitrogen lol cos thats not much at all.

  • this can't be real!!!! wtf if this is real our government is bullshit for not mass producing this and saving the economy.

  • liquid hydrogen wow....where can I get a bit of liquid hydrogen.

  • THIS IS THE 60s..THE 60s!!!! WTFFFF this is 2010 why havent we gotten to the point where people can buythis? so retarded

  • @2cool0 its 2011 xD

  • @DeltronCommando hahaha ok smart ass :)

  • holy shit is this real? if so why the hell cant we get this people?!?!?!?!?

  • 5 stars for the music.

  • Holy crap this video is from the 60-70s how freaking good is the video and especially audio quality!!!!

  • @phantomloita It's pretty average, really. Good, clear technicolour has pretty much always existed— it was just cheaper to make crappy black and white.

  • 0:06 - UFO ? o.O

  • Why did they stop making those? it seems like everybody should have one of those by now.

If they made those for everybody I bet there would be less war, because everybody would be having too much fun flying around.

  • @RespectMyHate more like, war will be much more fun !

  • @RespectMyHate---well not really they would just add gatlin guns like in kick-ass then ther would b more war =P

  • @RespectMyHate because of money.

  • @RespectMyHate and dying off by themselves i suppose...

  • @RespectMyHate They do make them, they just dont make such a big deal about it/reveal it to the public.

  • @carman24007 watch my video popsicle masterpiece please. you will like it trust me.

  • @RespectMyHate i bet it would become a real hit in the middle east

  • whenever I see this I remember My Favorite game GTA San Andreas haha you can do whatever you want :P

  • Wish i could hit The love button instead of the like button for superChads comment to toejam or w\e his name is...

  • @silverado669 "Wish i could hit The love button instead of the like button for superChads comment to toejam or w\e his name is..." my name is tosgem you nincompoop, and yes, i am reading these comments. I have nearly started my design.

  • that car is not full trottle..

  • @tosgem How do you plan on it being safe if it goes the speed of a small aeroplane? If you fly anywhere above 50 ft its dangerous and anything lower, like NOE and youll hit a tree. It is highly unlikely that you can make it that fast anyways, as the body isnt aerodynamic when standing. Also, to have a decent range requires a larger power source, which defeats the goal of fast and far. Can it be done for 10 K? I kindly say no, but for 200K, maybe, but then get a super cub....

  • Buzz lightyear to star command, do you read me? Star Command?

  • Automotive industry, Petroleum industry, Government, Federal Reserve = Crony Capitalist... they could careless about technology, advancing toward the future with alternative energy, or a new means of transportation. This is why we'll never have consumer jetpacks. Anyway, there are to many idiots on the road who don't know how to drive (Chinese, Jews, Women, Old People, Thug Rappers). Can you image a jetpack slamming into the side of your apartment building?

  • Fake. The truth is jet packs are real but it is 2010 and jetpacks are much bulkier than this and do not go nearly as fast. I cannot believe people are actually believing that this is a real jetpack lol.

  • ok this video is more bs then a man running 400 miles per hour.

  • @3stooges0 dont diss Ussain bolt man lol

  • @markydallimore ok u have a point but still this video is so BS and it cant be real.

  • the music so so cool, lol

  • GO FAST JETPACK @ MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

    is in youtube see that

  • GO FAST JETPACK @ MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

    See this

  • im tired of seeing these motherfucking commercials on this motherfucking site

  • The govt will either snipe you and take your invention or pay you and never release it to the public

  • Awesome invent that and the govt will either snipe you and take your idea or buy it from you and never release it to the public

  • IM SO SICK OF this, why can't we do better then that in 2010? That's it, i'm gonna invent a decent jetpack myself with good range and speed which is not dangerous for the pilot and can atain the speed of a a small airoplain, and I will aim for a retail of around $10,000US. Hopefuly it can be invented and on sale in 1 year. I have invented other things before.

  • @tosgem lol

  • @tosgem k

  • @tosgem shut up u should try and learn your spelling before u attempt anything at all ever a-e-r-o-p-l-a-n-e douche bag

  • @SuperCH4D Really wow. Good to know how to spell areoplane...

What is an aeroplane exactly? I suppose its aerodynamic somehow huh?

  • Jet packs won't fly with only liquid hydrogen...not without the shit eating grin.

They are both necessary for the jet pack to work.

  • @tosgem hahahah, good luck. 1 year, speed of air plane, safe ANDDD retail. some high goals ya got there lol.

btw what have you invented before?

99.99% is that you're one of those people who are all talk and no outcome(or even attempt)

  • @NoNiceNamesLeft I will be starting the design process after Christmas and New Year, I haven't had time up until then and have been very busy. In the new year I will find some time. I am thinking slightly improved hydrogen fuel cells are the answer to short range issue

  • @tosgem

    Talk is cheap.

  • @tosgem I'm sure it's really easy too. It's not rocket science.....oh wait.

  • @tosgem Industrial revolution will take place my friend

  • @tosgem Wow one year, and all for $10,000- what's it going to run on, coke and mentos?

So what other things have you 'invented' I'm really curious to know

  • @tosgem A jetpack from someone who can't spell 'aeroplane'. I won't buy it.

  • @Spidersaur I really hate people who criticize spelling... DO YOU THINK HE'S GOING TO INVEST ALL HIS ENGLISH SKILLS INTO PERFECTING YOUTUBE COMMENTS?

  • @IlersichProductions well "Yeair" did i spell it write???.

  • @tosgem The real problem is we still rely on the fuels we do. We need to be thinking outside the box. I mean fusion. Use the nitrogen in the air as fuel, or even better greenhouse gasses like methane, CO2, etc. Magnetism to create a few hours of electricity to drive a turbine or something.

    I dunno.

If we want to see people flying to work or to and from errands we need to step away from fossil fuels to be truly practical.

  • @Dilo22 Dill dude we already have all that, they are being used in our "Open Secret" military weapon's,the same weapon's that will be used to kick the azzes of the people who paid for all that shit, with their tax money, but shhhh it's a secret don't tell anybody, aint tech cooooooool???.

  • @myleftnutts I doubt that :/

  • @tosgem you go man!

  • @tosgem heck I'll test for ya

  • @tosgem well toegems that is ambitious, however 2 facts u need to know,we already have that,it's just not available to "JoeBlowShittKicker" u see toe's "JBSK" ONLY get's what the "Bankers" say's he get's,and toe's if u doubt that ask "Mr.Tesla" he gave the world "Wireless Power Transmission" but the Bankers said we can't have it.

  • @tosgem hahaha you are going to invent a jetpack

    ...you mean improve a jetpack

  • @tosgem

Get to it man you will be my god if you manage it, i honestly think it could be done. Do you consider your self a engineer or do you just like tinkering? I suspect the biggest problem is government regulation not the technical aspects.

  • @tosgem do you have an idea foe the jetpack cuz i wanna buy 1 or 10

  • @tosgem Man good luck. I'm on your side, these people invent things, and then try to sell them for house prices, or lambo prices, how do they expect us to cut down fuel emissions like that? No one in their right mind would be able to honestly afford it, plus the up keep, and how often you have to refuel the things. Plus it was going how fast at the end? Maybe... 80 - 100 mph. Just open up the speed limits on roads and I can do that in any car and still save money on upkeep and refueling.

  • I like how the close up footage of him was done from the gound lol

  • @imeanpeace2

    lol, yea haha

    Was thinking the same

  • I remember those things.

I wanted one and still do.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • This is from the 80s. Now it's better and it's available now.
