i hav one of these gold coins and its a beautiful coin. royal canadian mint does the best job on coins

that's a very special plastic container housing the coin, first time I've ever seen, great collection BTW

@ArgentPur1OZ Yeah it's a disc which snuggly holds the outer edge of the coin with both sides exposed - that disc then fits into a normal capsule for storage in the box. It's a nice packaging idea because the hologram effect is much better when looking directly at the coin.

@TheSilverMeister Seems RCM keeps on changing packaging but recycling coin graphic over and over again. this leaf pattern has appeared on 2001 color maple, 2011 half oz maple and kilo maple...
