  • Thank you so much for this. I'm 25 and getting ready to go through this. I'm nervous, scared, embarrassed. But I've been in pain for years and I'm so anxious to be able to smile again!

  • Growing up whenever I had a tootache we'd go to the clinic and have the the molar pulled.. .and at 30 got gum disease and had to get gum surgery and ultimately got my braces but then lost my job with the dental insurance and couldnt afford my retainer. The job that I'm currently in for the past 6 yrs doesnt offer dental!!! :O( Now - last week I went to check the possibility about getting braces again & got the devistating news of me having to get dentures because of the advanced periodontitis:O(

  • you look and sound beautiful!

  • thanks for makeing your videos i haveing all my teeth pulled this week and i am 26 there going to put a immediate one in on the top and bottom kinda nervous about getting it done but i know i will feel alot better about my self when it is all done and over with

  • My parents never took me either. I started going in my 20s and would get a root canal and then never be able to finish as I'd run out of insurace. Then they'd say- "You need more root canals, on and on, and meanwhile the ones that didn't get finished become brittle and fall apart. My Mom's teeth were Horrible, and me and my bro think it contributed to her death, so I believe the genetics thing as well. Do you have reg dentures or are there implants holding them in.Are you worried about bone loss

  • @jenraider72 I'm so sorry you lost your mom.... I completely agree with wasting money trying to space dental procedures apart it's like you either get it all done up front or don't even bother! I have basic, immediate dentures.....nothing holding them bad boys in there but fixodent hahaha

  • @VisionimagifyTV Sorry it took so long to respond to this LOL but THANK you! Yeah people are super critical until they find themselves in a position of being judged and ridiculed. Life, I guess.

  • I have surgery on Friday June 17th 2011. I am getting full dentures and they told me not to smoke. Why not smoke?

  • @padude64 Smoking can cause dry socket after surgery. Smoking is just bad altogether and you should avoid it at ALL costs. With that said- I am a smoker. I smoked right up until my surgery and then the day after I was smoking again. I was lucky that nothing bad happened. It's just not guaranteed how well you will heal if you smoke....

  • You shall be a model! You are gorgeous! You look fabulous!

  • These videos are so encouraging to me. Yesterday, I had all my uppers extracted & received my first dentures. I'm 54 with kids who are the same age as this wonderful woman. Like her, I spent uncountable thousands of dollars just getting emergency dental work, over 30 years, starting in my early twenties. It is what it is. Well said. Courage & strength to all who are going thru this. Thanks Kalinjax.. It's all worth it.

  • @jabbermocky Thank you so much for your comment:-) My mom is also 54 and she just got dentures. I am glad you like the videos. I checked out your channel- as I do for just about everyone who comments or subscribes- and I see that you are following Dutchsinse and his research into HAARP. I actually just found out about him recently- UNBELIEVABLE! Very good work he does!

  • Thank you for your info on the denture living website. I am 33 yrs old and just had the 5 remaining top teeth removed yesterday. I am waiting for the stitches to go away and then getting upper dentures. Then I have to work on getting the lower removed and getting lower dentures. My cause is due to Lupus and Crohn's Disease & the medications that I was on due to those.

  • @AllieLejeune I get lots of messages from people who ended up getting dentures due to medical reasons and/or medications, so you definitely aren't alone! And I promise, if you are in a position to where you need dentures, you will be so much better off! As long as you have a competent dentist, the transition is rather easy for most. Some do have issues but most of those issues can be resolved. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

  • I'm 40yrs old and all my teeth need to be extracted,i am scared senseless, and cannot wrap my head around the idea of going through this.I am trying to accept the reality of this but just cannot. You are really helping me through all this, thank you so much, for sharing your experience.

  • @jpdlable I am also 40.....this video helped me make a decision a tremendous decision to get my teeth pulled next week and get dentures. It has taken me 3 years to work up enough nerve to make that first phone call. The pain I have been in with absessed teeth over the past ten years.....its not worth it. I'm gonna do it, then make my own video. for my kids.

  • @jpdlable Sorry it took so long for me to respond! I am wondering how you are doing now or if you have made any decisions yet?

  • Bless you for posting this honey. I am a young looking 50, & I have lost most of my teeth due to the menopause. I live in the UK & it's taken me 5 years to get them to agree to doing implant retained dentures because I have a swallowing problem, but they are now going to do it. I already have low confidence, & my partner of 9 years has just left me for someone else. Now I feel even worse than I did, so I am hoping this will be a new beginning for me. Thanks for sharing. Blessings. Sharon. x

  • I am facing at least a partial, are you pretty much able to eat anything now that your adjusted to them?

  • i went threw the same thing im 33 yrs old.the sad thing it that people think the crazyiest things when u r young and dont have teeth.it makes me so mad because of their small mindness.i had gotten my upper teeth all removed.even dr think negitive things about it.i wish there were more info out there about our situation.even when i was young i had weak teeth.every time i would go to the dentist i had to get teeth removed.i mean im very healthy but i had weak teeth

  • @mislastchild Well I imagined people would have something to say but so far I have only heard positive things about it and anyone who looks down on me due to this isn't worth a rats ass anyhow lmao. I also had weak teeth. Unfortunately it just runs in the fam....

  • im doing the same...im so scared

  • @sugarpie1100 I can see how it's scary when you don't know what to expect. I am a MAJOR hypochondriac and have serious anxiety issues so I actually thought the surgery itself would kill me LOL. I am telling you now it was SO easy. Surgery wasn't bad at all and after 2 weeks I looked better, ate better, felt better. I mean seriously in 2 weeks- a decade worth of damage both emotional and physical was corrected. If you have any questions I would be happy to talk to you about it....

  • may show us ur pretty denture?

  • In this video, you resemble a little bit of Rachel McAdams.
