Hello. I P7P55D, and ati 6950 2gb. There are 2 slots: 1 (2.0_1 PCIe x16 slot (blue, at x16 link) 2 (2.0 PCIe x16_2 slot (black, at x4 link). I have connected the ati 6950 in 2 (2.0 PCIe x16_2 slot (black, at x4 link). If I put you in the first slot I'll have better performance? Help me ....
I've built my own custom pc for the first time just a few days ago using this motherboard but what can I use to connect it to my monitor. I'm trying using a 1gb pci-e ddr2 graphics card but when I plug in my monitor on the VGA port on the graphics card my monitor still says no signal. Any help? Plz sum1 reply asap as I need to get it running soon
@TheRES74 you can't get an i7 cpu with this card beacause it has a 1156 socket on it. If you wanna build an i7 rig you need a mobo with a 1366 soket and chipset x58
@StealthKillerMW are you sure? because apparently it's suppose to be the 'asus' part of pegasus, and im not sure but i think pegasus isn't pronounced pegasoos

@BenDover137 i dont think u can use SLI and i wudnt risk it i wud look on amazon i think i saw 1 there for only about £2 and u only need 1 benchmarks shows tht u get better performance with 1 than 2, crossfire bridge tht is

True Free energy devices exist,But Elite controllers don't want ppl to be free from the costs of energy,Find a motor that needs no fuel or input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,take part in the revolution!
m getting a ASUS P7P55D-E PRO and 2 5770 in crossfire, im just wondering if the bridge is to short the bridge that comes with the card its 7cm long and the motherboard seems to be long spaced from the two pci e 2.0 x16 slots will the 7 cm bridge work PLZZ help me?
P7P55D-E LX does not support CrossFireX/SLI = ( PCIe x16 Slots ) , and also this model you have to active or enable the ( I/O Level Up ) = SATA III 6 Gb/s / USB 3.0 .
P7P55D-E Pro its much better support CrossFireX/SLI with 16 Hybrid Power Phase and none ( I/O Level Up ) and 7x SATA 3Gb/s Storage ,
the P7P55D-E PRO its the best model of P7P55D-E Series
and y the Intel P55 Chipset Only support DDR3 Dual-Channel Memory (RAM)
I Recommend Corsair Dominator 4GB 1600MHz [ CMP4GX3M2C1600C7 ]
I'm getting this board, It's all what I want in a board; USB 3, and SATA 3, SLI and Core i5 support, I don't want more than that, on the other hand GIGABYTE boards with the same specs are more expensive for no reason.
yea but i would like to see other vids on this board too... i dont want just one opinion, mabey 3DGAMEMAN can make one... his reviews are great!! also PCWizKid, he makes pretty good vids too.. @Averin The E series mainly is just an update of the USB 3.0 and SATA 6gbit/s actually you dont really nid that... just get normal P7P55D Series... Get a Pro Board if u want SLI/Crossfire, a EVO Board (Modified Version of Pro board just a few diff) which includes On-board Power/Reset button, Clear CMOS Button etc. The High ends are P7P55D Premium & Deluxe... It is mainly used for OC and Maximus III Formula (Extreme for gaming) I just Recommend a Pro or a Evo (If u dont wan 2 mount it in a case)

@izhan22 you "think"?! blowing air on that cable... lol, sorry, that's just silly.
He may not have plugged in his PCI-e connectors on his GPU, the card maybe dead, he may have shorted out the motherboard too.
Theres alot to consider, not just down to a VGA cable and blowing on it... I've never even heard of that happening.

Hey guy's what's the difference between all the p55p7d-e boards? they have a whole bunch of suffixes, such as LE, Pro, premium. Was planning to get this MB, but what's the main differences?
Averin 2 years ago
Main hardware points on each board, starting from the bargain boards to the high-end ones (features are cumulative):
LX (there is no LE for P7P55D-E series): PCIe x16 is set up for x16, x4 bandwidth, which means dual gfx card set ups won't get ideal performance. single cards would.
Pro: Adds in PCIe x16 @ x8, x8 which gets you about 90-95% efficiency outta mid to mid-high-end dual gfx rigs.
Deluxe: 16+3 power phases, 10ch audio, double gigabit ethernet, OCing remote
Premium: 32+3 power phase
Bioquakee 2 years ago
@Bioquakee 32+3 or 24+3?
Just correct for you...
zhiheng2005 2 years ago
EDIT to my last post:
LX should be replaced with (no suffx). The LX board doesn't have a second PCIe 2.0 x16 slot, less power phases and I think is the cheapest.
I just recently ordered this board (P7P55D-E PRO) mainly because it could support PCIe 2.0 x16 @ x8, x8 along with all the other cool new things.
Bioquakee 2 years ago
@Averin The E series mainly is just an update of the USB 3.0 and SATA 6gbit/s actually you dont really nid that... just get normal P7P55D Series...
