Watched this dvd recently and while the movie is not my general cup of tea so to speak you cannot deny the talent that is MW. And so cute too! Would love to see him in more serious type stuff again. But love, love, love NCIS. Gibbs and Dinozzo Rule 4ever!!!
I liked this too. I kinda had a feeling he would say that this character was something different than what he was used to playing. I at first thought that his character Danny was very you know..serious at first and that's a different side of MW that I'm not used to seeing. Not to mention there were a couple of hot parts and I mean HOT parts in the movie where he was boxing. He's definitely what you call..cheetahliscious! :P
Man, he looked freaking hot in those scenes they showed of him working out....he looks so different with tattoos....but they look very hot on him! He is a gorgeous man! And he was very good in this movie.
It is such a different role...so used to seeing him as dinozzo more than anything else...it's a little shocking at first, isn't it? That's how I felt after I watch Fatwa, with Lauren holly in it...totally shocked, because it was so not like Jen...
@CellobeanRocks yeah it is..especially when you're used to a cut up like MW making you laugh all the time. :) This was a different role for him and I liked his character in the movie. I kinda liked the bad boy image he protrayed but was crying my eyes out in the end.
Mmmmmmm. This is such a different role for Michael Weatherly, but I feel like it's absolutely perfect, you know? He can do anything. I love it. He's a beautiful person, imo.
Michael Weatherly is a superb actor and his talents translate well into movie roles as well as TV. He may not realize that many NCIS fans prefer the brooding and cool Tony DiNozzo character rather than the comedic frat boy character, which sometimes shows up in some NCIS episodes. Cote de Pablo (as Ziva David) provides the perfect counter-balancing character for the Tony character on NCIS.
I agree with you...he seems though that he doesn't quite realize how good he is, himself. I've heard even his NCIS co-star Mark Harmon saying that M.W. "doesn't know how good he is". I hope and wish he gets many chances in the future to prove himself... I do too prefer him a little more serious than the very childish self he shows at times in NCIS, that's why I loved the character "Logan" in D.A. He was perfect there, despite the whole fantasy-thing.

@Adrianne519 agreed. My breath caught in my throat when I saw him boxing and in that jail cell doing those push ups with his arms. I was drooling! :D

I'm going crazy trying to find Charlie Valentine. It's won a bunch of awards at various film festivals and I want to see it.
