Those Duke's you got there are good but I find their power an issue. I use Duke but switched to more powerful Magnum traps like Belisle's Super X and they put the coon out fast. I trapped with the Duke 220 in buckets and could hear the coon making crying noises for at least 15 mins...nasty sound and irritating. It alerted the whole area and neighbours came out with flashlights in their yard to see. Hopefully I was o.k.
The magnum traps give them 30 secs for a couple cries and that's it!

I catch 80 lb Racoons all the time during garbage night. They are usually chasing the coyotes down the street. lol Are you eating that?

I see you are using the Duke 220...takes a bit more for them to die with this trap. I've seen it.
Use magnums..they are better.
That's a yellow coon. He didn't look 33 pounds
