So your telling me that you gained over 100 lbs by eating healthy food in America? Something doesnt add up here. stop pointing fingers, good wholesome healthy food can be found in most any local American grocery store.
Dan does a person have to have that particular brand you are using this video to benefit from juicing? What are the specs of that particular juicer. It looks like a Breville.
Hey Dan, Ever since I read the Detox Miracle Souracebook i've always had a small voice telling me not to mix my veggies with fruits. I see you just did it - so obviously the idea doesn't bother you.. but do you understand what i'm concerned about? Or does it not matter when you juice?
No, I was extremely skinny, like all bones. Then I was a bodybuilder and 50% larger than what I am now. But I was also addicted to meth & pot & was an alcoholic and an angry person and I lived on the streets. Going raw changed all that.
I don't believe it should ever be about losing weight for people though as that is missing the point!
IT IS ABOUT GAINING HEALTH!
Can you dig it? :D
In response to your other question about what is funny, all is funny, all the time! :D
usually i cant stand when people talk but u know what you are saying and it seems like you have had a few good people in your life to back you up‚ thanks for keepin it real
I think I remember Dan fixing a one-bowl marinera sauce over zucchini noodles. He started with the s blade in the cuisinart, made a tomato sauce. Then he switched to the shredder blade for the zucchini. Then he turned the whole thing over onto a plate. Voila! Sauce on top, noodles on bottom. I've been all through the archives. Can you help me find it?
That juice drink looks awesome! Great to see you having a great time in LA!!! Sooo great! Thank you for the positive thinking - So true about happiness and health!!! We can dig it!
That Breville Juicer is one of the best that Breville offers- it's about $250 all stainless teel construction and 1,000 watt. I dont think Dan is being sponsored? But I do know that he has been juicing for quite a while with the same juicer and zero issue.
Now that was one hefty sized lemon! What a great detox juice. I'm glad you made it to LA safe. How sweet of your friends to let you stay there while you do your detox program. Ps. Can't one order a plunger part from Breville? Gotta love the celery plungers though : D Enjoy your stay ~ lots of love and gratitude your way.
If I store the juice in a glass container in the fridge for the next day, will it lose it's vitamins? I have to do this because somedays I don't have time to juice every single day. Thanks for your videos :)
Man thats a bummer the top piece melted....thats funny too cuz the Brevel says its Dishwasher safe. I just throw mine in the washing Machine and it cleans up real nice, haha, wise words Dan!
Galatians 5:22,23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Hey Dan, Its great to get a vid from you while you are down in so cal. LOVE IT! I just started a juice feast today. DAY 1 WAHOOOOO! Thanks for you inspiration. Still love the Breville baby. Can you dig it!?
They are doing the best they can every single day with far fewer resources than someone who can afford
to juice everyday and post them on youtube. It's unfair and unjust and I just hope you will take this for what it's worth and be more mindful in the future. Otherwise, I love the message your sending and what you're doing. I've learned a lot and I hope this doesn't feel like an attack. That is not my intention.
@crystalmhc I think that Dan has plenty of perspective in that area and don't need any lectures. After all, we are talking about a guy who has lived in a tent in the woods and survived off practically nothing.
'They are doing the best they can every single day with far fewer resources than someone who can afford

That's why ghetto style is great as simplicity is always best! If you watch all my vids you'll see I always wear the same clothes! Some of my best years were spent living on the street with my rasta brothers. They gave me rhythm, I give them my upmost lifelong respect.
Dan is a wise Man! Not forgetting where the powerful love is, or the appreciation! Blessings to you brother! "Airy Fairy" LOLOL!!! That's a good one! : ) Yes, I can dig it, I can dig it and I appreciate your videos and your authenticity to be yourself in your own style... more power to you! ; )

Did I just hear you say you're going "ghetto" style because you have to use celery after your tamper was ruined in the dishwasher. The implication is that somehow "ghetto" people (that term is most often used to refer to poor working class black people) live unlike the rest of us.
Dandelions so glad U used some in recipe, When I ws sick with stmack virus -Nov dec.- all I wanted to eat was dandelions. Drank lemon or cranberry juice to clean out system. Bought beet juice. Found your videos. Eating more kale, mustard beet dandelions greens now.. Being single have to buy smaller amounts or Veg. go bad. Wish you success for helping people.
Awsome video, can't wait to try this one. The Bazaar was excellent; I really appreciate you taking that time to talk with myself and my Aunt Karen at the Bazaar, it was a pleasure and we felt all your positve energy. You are an inspiration for sure....REALLY :)
TnWormsCastings: I raise worms, too. Yes, they love the pulp and the peels and anything left from the juicing. Do not discard the leavings. They are raw material for gold (worm castings). You must have a wonderful garden! I serve my flowers high tea (worm tea).
Thank you so much for taking the time to make videos while you're travelling around. I know you two must be busy, but you really care about us and I really appreciate it! Love you Dan and Krista!!!
hand wash the parts with soap and warm water right after each use...
for best results with the fine mesh basket, get a shower nosill for your sink. shoot it from the outside towards the inside of the baskest. make sure the water is at its hotest. i think its crucial to wash the mesh basket right after juicing...
I bit my tongue after saying that bleach thing as that is actually NOT how I normally clean my juicer at all! I usually immediately wash & scrub it down with a hose in my outdoor kitchen back at the RV.
I DO however admit to cleaning the juicer w/ bleach 1-2 per YEAR for a deep cleaning, and yes I am well aware of the toxicity of bleach, but everything is toxic to some degree and for that really deep cleaning as I said just 1-2 times per YEAR I find that nothing else gets the job done better.
Yeah.. thats what occurred to me - surely it would be better Dan and more eco-friendly for you and your body to use CITRICIDAL ? (Grapefruit seed extract) I use this to soak my veggies and fruit to kill off any organic fertilizer bacteria or soil microbes. The mesh basket I have found if left for a little bit too long after juicing and it becomes dried out? Soak it in water with 1/2 of a lemons juice - within hours the bits will all come loose and you can scrub as normal.
Also, I was simply out of my element w/ my easy scrub/wash/rinse system of my outdoor kitchen so instead of immediately cleaning I was instead yapping away (no surprise there!) w/ my detox group & without me even being aware, they had put all the juicer pieces into the dishwasher. I myself haven't used a dishwasher since leaving NYC 2 years ago, LOL! But want to know what's funny? When I first used a Breville juicer like this at Krista's apt in NYC I did the same exact mistake w/ the tamper!
I actually do use grapefruit seed extract to clean the actual fruits & vegetables themselves, in the form of VEGGIE WASH which, ta-da, we have in our store!
Go to this link, replacing each 'dot' with a '.'

However I do not find veggie wash to be strong enough of a cleaner to do that real big deep cleaning and disinfection that I like to do 1-2 a year w/ the actual juicer.
Also, I never leave the mesh basket out to get crusty, I powerwash it w/ the hose
I bought a Breville second hand the other day and the lady had used it only 3 or 4 times a while ago for citrus fruits and the mesh was encrusted. The lemon in water worked a treat. I get your point about the deep clean tho, probably wise. Although I read that CITRICIDAL is the only thing that can remove bacteria from a tooth brush, not even bleach can do that apparently so, dunno...its all good ! Thanks Dan.

You should consider a better juicer dan.
You should not be hearing any bogging down of the motor from that.
Any loss in speed is loss in juice flinging out.
The pulp should be very dry.
Although if your being sponsored/income from the company, i do understand. :)
