People should really NOT take akuma's health disadvantage so seriously, it's not HUGE, and he has way further damaging combo's than other characters (but then yet, his super/ultra suck, and ryu's super/ultra are easy as baIIs to set up). But yeah, Akuma ftw :).

both players were no doubt decent but many mistakes crept into their games. and its also difficult for both akuma and ryu to chain combos on each other due to their nature of both characters counters. pretty evenly skilled players. and i would like to officially say seth's health bar sucks more balls than akuma's

Akuma takes more damage when he's hit than any character in the game besides Seth, so eating a few large combos will wipe you out.

A normal hadoken does 100 damage to all characters.. There is no such thing as someone having armor or someone who takes extra damage..

Basically Ken and Ryu are sort of the same character. Ryu is range based and has power within his kicks, however, his combos are slow which justifies his range capabilities. Ken is a CQC based guy whose Shoryuken can do massive damage even more so in EX form, and he can make combos out of his flashy moves. Akuma is all about strategy and versatility, his Zanku Gouhadou is a good trick to fool enemies or start an air combo, also his Ashura can keep you out of trouble should your combos fail you.

ken's fireball is also slower than ryu but his Dragon punch is much better in more ways. kens Hurricane kick is good for combos his ex version is even better and will not leave you too open unless the opponent is Crouch-Blocking

Akuma is really combo based you need to be smart playing him and he can do massive damage but also takes alot of damage. he is fast and strong but weak defense. .

Ryu-excels at fireballs and utilizes his punches to start his combos and faster than ken Ryu's hurricane kick is good for going thru projectiles and if the ex version is used in the corner u can land a ultra after that.

Ken utilizes his kicks except for his 1-2 punch AKA medium hard punch is good for starting combos but pretty much useless because it misses crouching opponents and leave you wide open. his standing medium kick is wonderful great for agressiv

Akuma, Ryu and Ken and Dan is essentially mastering the same character, with miniscule differences. If there's a match between any of these characters fighting each other, it's a a dead-even fight. Of course, assuming that both players are equally good.

Akuma has a few more moves, but overall they're not a whole lot useful. I use teleport mostly to escape from the corner, and rarely use the red Hadoken unless from a distance. Also, the Hyakishu and similiar attacks I find them pretty useless.

It may be but it is much more difficult to land in many cases. Unless your opponent makes an obvious mistake such as a low short when you being the ultra, you almost have to wait for a reversal or counter when fighting skilled players.
